Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: First of all I am primarily a mountain biker, but have been fitted for many bicycles including a road bike at Bike Country and am very happy with the fit. If you want a precise fit you get it as they utilize their fit kit, and their judgement, to make any and all adjustments necessary; while many shops I have been too simply assume standing you over a bike will suffice. Second I have been on mountain bikes my entire life and worked in a bike shop in high school, so I know a thing or two about bikes. Bike Country does have qualified mechanics, and I would be suprised if a guy who bought an '05 GT on EBAY knew more than their head mechanic does. Customer Service: They are friendly and know what they are talking about. Plus their prices are way better than other shops, especially labor rates, and like I said the service department is good.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: I have been a long time customer of Bike Country and will continue to return because of the excellent service and knowledgeable staff. They always have the items I am looking for at a good price and if not, they are able to special order it in a timely manor. I have visited other stores in the area, and Bike Country is by far the best one and the one that I will continue to visit. Customer Service: I have not had a great deal of experience with the customer service end of any sale. But they have always been up for answering any and all of my questions and concerns. They have also always appeared to have a genuine concern for making me happy with my purchases and not just making a quick sale. Other Comments: The service and technical expertise of this shop is above average...all work that I have had done has met or exceeded my expectations.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Over the years I've purchased a few bikes from them. Nice people, but they've put me on bikes that don't fit me. Lately brought a bike to them I had gotten off Ebay and the previous owner had installed an incorrect headset. Had to reassemble the bike so thought I'd have bike country do that and give it the once over. They couldn't get it back together because the headset was the incorrect size (this was true). Prioblem is, rather than measure and do a little research to determine what headset it needed (bike is an 05 GT Avalanche) they told me they couldn't buy the part and GT made the headset for the bike (which I knew was a load of crap). After some research after I picked the bike up (a two minute phone call to pacific cylces who bought out GT) I determined the correct headset was a zero stack (like a cane creek zs-6 or similar) you can get anywhere. Pretty sad that they coudn't figure it out themselves. I've bought enough from them I figured they'd work on it and get it figured out for me. Instead they washed their hands of it and charged me $15 to cobble it together with the incorrect headset after I told them I'd just pick it up. Owners are nice people, but I'm not sure how competent their mechanics are are unless it's a very simple repair on bike brands that they sell. End of it all was I bought the headset online for $33 and had another shop in town press in the new cups and install the cane creek headset for $20 (Kyle's bikes). Customer Service: Owners are helpful and very nice, but be careful they don't get you on a bike that doesn't fit you.
