Shop Summary:
They have recently opened up their store and now it seems alot more open.

Customer Service:
I bought my first bike, a Trek 4500, from them a few years back and had a very good experience from one of the salesmen. So good in fact, I would drive the 30 plus mile round trip to their shop just to get my bike tuned up. I would also send people just coming into mountain biking to them based on the way I was treated back then. Recently, within the last month, I was looking for a new bike and wanted to stay with Trek, so I went to their store with a buddy. I explain to the salesman what I was looking for in regards to performance. I had already done my homework on what I needed to ask about, look for and so on. After I spoke with the salesman, and specifically stated that I was only looking for a full suspension bike to handle small 2 footer jumps, he walks me straight to the most expensive bike they had in the store! After that, I made up my mind not go there ever again and would not recommend it for others!

Other Comments:
I had ran in to this problem before when I brought my wife to the store to see if we could get her involved in it and was hoping to talk to the guy who sold me the bike. However, I was helped by the guy previously mentioned in the customer service block, and when he talked to us, it was deeming towards my wife's bike and very high pressure. Maybe he should go sell cars or something. I will never go there again, I would rather drive 4 hours to get my bike worked on than take it to them.

Shop Summary:
Clean and bright storefront with a wide array of bikes, bike accessories, repair and rejuvenation facilities, and other toys! Very eager and helpful staff and all of them are approachable with beginner questions or veteran special needs. All centrally located in Western Kentucky.

Customer Service:
I went into this shop as a blank sheet of paper. Having not been on a bike in 20 years, I new generally what I was after, but knew no specifics. As soon as I walked in, Dave M. jumped on me and asked all the right questions. I told him what type of cycling I wanted to do. He immediately steered me to several models.

He fitted me for the right size right there in the store and had me out riding in the side street in no time. Then he helped answer my questions about various other models. He helped me with what I needed, not necessarily what my preconceptions wanted. Though not in stock in my size at the time, I bought a Trek Navigator 3.0 and Dave said it would be in by the following Wednesday. Got a call on Wednesday that the bike had arrived (in just two business days!) and would be assembled, tested, and ready that afternoon. Dave D. then helped me with all the right neccessories, and they even installed them on the bike. Customer service was above par, and the combined knowledge of the employees was exceptional.

Other Comments:
Fantastic overall experience and I am already planning my next bike purchase from Bikes and Moore!

Shop Summary:
Great appearance and selection, great staff. I go in there literally daily and have spend thousands of dollars in the shop. I am more than happy to pay a little more to buy from the shop rather than on eBay or somewhere else because the service is so great.

Customer Service:
I have never asked anything of the guys that they haven't done. Special orders, maintenance (generally free if it's minor), advice. A+

Shop Summary:
Bikes & Moore caters to both road and off-road biking enthusiasts. The shop carries a variety of bikes from Trek, Specialized, and Gary Fisher, among others. Bikes and Moore also usually has a decent selection of gear on hand.

Customer Service:
ABYSSMAL BEYOND BELIEF. I have spent literally thousands of dollars at this Bikes and Moore but will never walk in again. I was recently treated with incredible hostility one of the employees when I disagreed with his recommendation on the order in which I wanted to look at gear to go with a Gary Fisher bike I was buying for my girlfriend. I went ahead with the bike purchase when the manager took over, but that was a mistake. The younger employee sulked around the counter making his disapproval so blatantly obvious, I made it a point to tell him that his attitude would have cost the store a sale if we hadn't already selected the bike. His response was to launch into a tirade. I informed him that he just lost all my future business and left. The manager followed me out and was assuring me he would talk to the employee when the hothead came out to continue his tirade calling me a jerk and informing me he hoped I never came back. This while I was still putting the bike I JUST BOUGHT on my Jeep!

Other Comments:
I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS SHOP. I have never been treated as shabbily as I was today at any retail establishment, let alone a bike shop which are usually positive and up-beat.

There are too many good shops out there to waste your time and money in a shop that tolerates aberrant, hostile behavior in it's employees.

Shop Summary:
It's been a little while since I've shopped there but I bought 3 bikes there and was extremely pleased by their selection and expertise on mountain bikes. They also have a great selection of riding gear too.

Customer Service:
Their service is exceptional and the folks behind the counter ride quite a bit. They won't sell you something just to make a profit, these guys really try to fit you into the bike you need.

Other Comments:
The wrenches will also invite you to ride with them, that is a bonus. I look forward to living near them again.
