Reser Bicycle Outfitters is located in the Historic Monmouth Street District of Newport within a fifteen minute walk from either downtown Cincinnati or Covington. Convienently, there are many great places to ride within minutes of the shop. Nearby mountain bike trails can be found at Tower Park in Fort Thomas, and scenic road riding can be found alongside the banks of the Ohio River, while the hills of Kentucky provide challenge for everyone.

Very well stocked Local Bike Shop. Authorized dealer of multiple brands of mountain, road and BMX bikes.

Customer Service:
The mechanics are always friendly and willing to fix a problem. However, everytime I have taken my bike in, I have been sent home with another problem. First, I had my bicycle rebuilt. The new tires were too large and rubbed the break. I was sent home another time with the handle bars crooked, and still another time with the chain bouncing up and down the cogs. I think I'll be trying a different bike shop.

Shop Summary:
Great LBS! Nice, clean, friendly store with a good selection of high quality bikes of all types. Active pro cycle advocates in the community, great and knowledgeable sales and mechanic staff. They even teach basic bike maintenance classes. The place is like a bike lovers candy store. If Reser was Hank Hill, bikes and bike accessories are their propane. A true no pressure, friendly store that's high end and down to earth at the same time. Custom bike fittings with each purchase and FREE LIFETIME tune ups! Are you kidding me! Why buy a bike anywhere else?

Customer Service:
I do tons of research when making a major purchase (which a bike is to me, and I was in the market for 2) and ended up spending tons of time online and in bike shops. Talking with the Reser crew was like talking to good friends that know a lot about biking, are glad you're getting into it and are there to offer you the best advice possible with no pressure whatsoever. When it came time to buy, I of course bought from Reser. I got caught up in traffic on the way to the fitting appointment and I started to worry as it was getting close to closing time for the day. No worries at Reser, as someone stayed WAY past closing time to make sure both fittings were done right and I was out the door with all the stuff I needed that met my preferences and needs (helmets, shorts, pump, bike rack, etc). The bike rack I bought was out of stock and I only have a small car so I was bummed that I might not get to ride until it came in. Again, no worries at Reser as one of the guys lent me his and said I could bring it back the following week when mine came in! YGTBMFSM!!!! I mean who does that? Reser Bicycle Outfitters, that's who! BEST. LBS. EVAR.

Other Comments:
Planning on getting a nice road bike next year and can't wait to go bike shopping at Reser again! Reser FTW!

Shop Summary:
I had a really frustrating experience with Jason on the phone. He declined to have a conversation with me about my concern and just blew me off--all over less than $20 dollars. As a reult of this one unsympathetic conversation, I will never come back to this shop again.

Customer Service:
See above. Thanks, I was really looking forward to having a home shop for my bike, but not after this experience.

Other Comments:
Mechanic is top notch but I did feel like I was being upsold on repair and maintenance.

Customer Service:
Top notch. Jason and Matt are the best and very very knowledgeable. Hnads down the best shop in the area. They also back everything they sell and if they are unsure about a product they wont carry it which says alot about them. Service is great and they have a fast turn around and you can even schedule appointments. It's a great place and all the reviews are spot on!

Agreed this is probably the most high end shop in the tri-state but also the most knowledge. Everyone rides and they have 3 of the best mechanics in the area.

Shop Summary:
This is a riders shop. The guys (and ladies) eat, drink and sleep bikes. They have really developed a helluva cycling community by sponsoring races, trail days, mountain bike and road rides. Sales support and knowledge is outstanding. This team has really worked to cultivate a solid reputation in this city and they have earned it one sale at a time. When anyone is looking for a bike, Reser Bicycle Outfitters is the first place I tell them to go. Support those that support you!!!
