Shop Summary:
The guys in the shop are pretty easy to deal with. They are slowly getting there as far as inventory. I've gone in for a tune-up on my mtb and for rim tape/tubes for my road bike.

Customer Service:
I have had great customer service and have heard of friends having the same.

Other Comments:
I'm really glad they are in town. If the price isn't too different, I'd much rather spend my money locally. At first I wished they had a bigger road bike line, but I spend enough mtbing to do that too.

Shop Summary:
My first feelings about the new shop fell somewhere between the 2 previous reviews on here. The shop was definitley lacking in parts on hand but did get them ordered and in for me quickly. I thought that the guys in the shop, while certainly not the most knowledgeable, were extremely friendly and at least acted like they wanted to help me. I have been back to the shop a couple of times since and it seems that they are getting most of the kinks worked out.

Customer Service:
very friendly guys.

Other Comments:
I grew up in the area, sometimes things just run a little slower around here.

Shop Summary:
A newer, essential shop in Ruston. Looks like they have mostly Kona mountain bikes and Electra cruisers, as well as Kelty backpacks and stuff. They also offer any bike service from, tube changes to full builds.

Customer Service:
Good, not all parts were available on hand, but everything i needed was delivered next day. Staff was very helpful and i had my fixed bike back very quick.

Other Comments:
Great shop, Ruston and Tech needed a shop close to campus. As long as your patient, I see no reason to drive to Monroe or Shreveport anymore!

msg me with any questions.

Shop Summary:
Of the 20 or so bike shops I have been to, this is by far the worst. In terms of customer service, product availability, knowledge of staff, etc. In EVERY dimension, this place suffers terribly.

The "mechanic" did not know the following:

-What a headset spacer is (they had to order those anyway), and they "don't stock stuff like that".

-What a star fangled nut is for the inside of the steer-tube on a fork. He was pretty sure that a star nut was for the brakes, apparently, as he searched all over the front of my bike for where it might go.

-What a cassette lock-ring is. I had to also explain that to him, and he would have to order that also.

-He asked me 3 times what size tubes I needed for the 26" wheel mountain bike I had sitting in front of me, to which I replied, "26", and he said, "what size" again.

-They didn't have any tires in their shop either, save an $8.00 Cheng-Shin or Kenda that I am sure they wanted $30.00 for.

I needed a link taken out of my chain and the guy told me over the phone that there was a $20.00/hr. minimum and that the labor charge was $20.00. I was pretty sure I didn't want to pay this guy by the hour to figure anything out - that would get VERY expensive.

They finally told me that they didn't need my business and they actually said "f@#$ you" when I told them how poor their service was.

Customer Service:
Absolutely awful. This shop doesn't do anything but take bikes out of boxes, and put them together well enough to watch them roll out the door (if anyone were to buy them). The owner said, "we've put our necks out to bring a bike shop here and you buy your parts from someone else and bring your problems to me." Little did that idiot know, many of the parts were about 10 years old and I have had them since 1997. The rest were parts I used off my other bikes. They actually thought they were doing me a favor after they couldn't even sell me some headset spacers or a star-nut or a cassette lockring, etc. They have no product in their store, so how can I buy anything from them? These guys take stupidity to an entirely new level.

I suggest, if you can steer clear of this place, that you do. Go to River City Cycles in Shreveport - a REAL bike shop.

Other Comments:
Poorly run business. They have a few 3-5,000 dollar bikes in there and they think that makes them a bike shop. They know nothing and it shows within the first few minutes of conversation. I don't believe that the rating scales on here go low enough to be able to describe this place.
