Shop Summary:
By far the best bike shop in this area. This is the only shop that I will use. They specialize in high end bikes and components, but have something for everyone. Everyone I know that wants a bike, I send them there. They have a true passion for what they do. It is even contagious so that it makes you want to go ride more. The owner Bill is a great guy and has taken time to show me some tricks and tips after hours and on rides together.

They will never up sell you just to make a buck. He has talked me out of a couple of overpriced options in favor of some more sensible choices.

Bill will also work on any bike and knows about all bikes. He offers used parts sometimes, and has great prices on new parts and new bikes as well.

Customer Service:
Great. You won't find any better customer service. He has kept the shop open for me after hours before just so I can get what I need, but please ask him first.

He went out of his way to make sure that my wife's bike was customized to include aesthetic things that she would like. When she got the bike she loved it and the the extras that Bill put on the bike and recommended make her want to go out and ride more.

Other Comments:
If it weren't for this shop, I wouldn't have made a lot of friends that I have now. I certainly wouldn't have learned some riding tips. Dirt Road Bikes keeps me rolling!

Shop Summary:
in my opinion, dirt road, is the only shop worth visiting in the area. went shop to shop asking questions and talking to employees for a while before finding them. i knew as soon as i walked in there that this would be "my" lbs. keep in mind they are almost 70 miles away from my home. bill and evan are serious about what they do. high end parts, high end knowledge and high end service. just spending any amount of time in there makes you want to ride with these guys. can't say enough, just walk in. bet you ten bucks bill says "how's life treating you today?"

Customer Service:
ok, while i was in there the other day a kid walked in with a lower end cannondale he bought used from a guy. the wheels were tacoed from some wreck. bill talks to him for a few minutes and asks him what his budget would be for a new set of wheels. kid says $150. i'm thinking, where is he going to dig up some crapped out wheelset from the dumpster for this kid. bill says "you're in luck i just so happen to have a perfect wheelset for you that just went on sale for $150." he runs in the back and comes out with a perect set of azonic outlaws for this kid. yep, i was like no way! thats how cool this shop is. they want kids to ride. they want people to enjoy the sport. after they mounted them all up (also for free), bill talks the kid into racing in the beginer class in a trail race that weekend.

Other Comments:
only shop i've been in that is a perfect fit for anyone, pro rider or just looking for a decent commuter, give them your buisness!!!!!!!

Shop Summary:
When I first got my bike back in the spring, I took it to this shop because I had heard of them. The guys were very friendly and helpful. Seem to have a great selection of bikes and parts on hand.

Customer Service:
As stated, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I sometimes feel they think I have deep pockets and try to upsell components I don't need, but I also realize they are in business to make a buck, so I don't let it bother me too much.

Other Comments:
Initially, I would go to Dirt Road for every little thing. But I have since found a shop that is much closer to me that I use for minor repairs or purchases. Dirt Road is about a 20 minute drive, whereas the new shop I go to is two minutes. But if I ever need major work done, or need to buy an expensive component, Dirt Road will be my first and only stop.

Shop Summary:
This business is awesome. Knowledgeable staff that does everything to make you happy with any purchase and goes the extra mile to make sure that you are getting the right bike for you. It is a lot packed into a small area, they have just about everything a person needs and will get you anything you want. Good prices for excellent quality stuff.

Customer Service:
No one around will treat you better and knows more about bikes. They are friendly and make buying a bike a hassle free experience. When you walk through the door you automatically become a friend. The other retail store don't even come close to the quality of service the entire staff provides. And when it comes to repair work or maintenance no one is as fast and goes the extra mile like they do.

Other Comments:
If you have a few seconds to spare drop in and ask if Bill is around. He will get you excited to ride and noone has as much passion for cycling like he does. Great guy and just wants to get everyone excited about riding whether you purchase from him or another retail store.
