Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Have to Admit I am not one to write these kinds reviews but I felt I had to help others trying to buy these kinds of bikes.
I had my mind set on a certain type of road bike. After expert guidance at the shop I found what I wanted was just not what I needed or really wanted after all.
I came very close to wasting my money on a bike I just would not have been comfortable on. I am very appreciative of there help.
I am so confident in there assitance I am going to listen once again on my next all mountain full suspension bike.
They even went as far as to bring a demo out to the local trail for a ride. Well worth taking the time to talk to the those who really know what there talking about.
Thanks to Eric. Much appreciation.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Eastbank Cyclery is a local bike shop that sells road, mountain, and bmx bikes and they keep on hand just about any accessory you need for all three styles of riding. The shop sells trek, giant, and gary fischer bikes with a variety of setups and price ranges to chose from. Accessory wise they have the best selection of items in stock I've seen in the greater New Orleans area. The shop has a good selection of component groups, riding clothing, brake sets, seats, tires, etc. Most anything they can get if not in stock, and at better pricing found than other stores in the area. These guys also keep up local xc riding trails in their spare time and help promote local riding by running nomambo and hosting its meetings at their shop. Go to www.nomambo.com under forums for meeting times. They have a good network of riders always looking for people to ride with. Customer Service: The guys at the shop will really work to put you on a bike that fits you and your riding style. They have experience in riding all the stuff they sale and can recommend first hand knowledge about any questions you have. They will work with you to get your bike fixed or equipment installed on your bike to get you back on the trail or road as soon as possible. I got my component group and cassette from this shop and had to have it for a weekend ride, they stayed late on Thursday for me to drop off my bike after work, installed the parts, and waited late for me on a Friday afternoon to pick it up so I could make my ride on Saturday morning. These guys will not try to oversell you but instead get you the best for what you riding standards are; daily, weekly, competitive, commuter, free riding, etc. Overall I'd recommend the shop for any rider at any skill level.
