Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels) that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»
Kent Island Bike Doctor

I started dealing with his shop when my longtime friend and coworker referred me to them several years ago. At the time I was just beginning to ride and was in search of a shop I could trust. Unlike some other local shops in my area these guys treated me great from day one. A couple of other shops I walked into didn''t treat me nearly as well as a new rider with little to no experience. The Kent Island Bike Doctor was my first real introduction to a quality bike shop.

Having such a great experience with a shop early on surely contribute to my growing cycling obsession and help me stick with the sport as I was getting started. They''ve always given me useful and honest product advice, service and general support.

I particularly appreciate the high end mountain bikes the shop carries. Santa Cruz, Ellsworth, Intense, ...

Prices are always comparable to any other LBS but the service and support is simply a cut above the rest.

They''ve handled a few warranty issues over the years for me with 100% support and no hassles. I have sent numerous friends and family members (including my Dad)to the shop and will continue to do so.

It''s also worth noting that I drive an hour each way to get to the shop. I probably pass half a dozen bike shops on my way to do so and it''s worth every minute of the trip.
