Shop Summary:
The kind of place that you want to be your Local Bike Shop. The shop is located in a little strip mall about a 1/2 mile off of I270 which makes it pretty convenient to get to even if you don't live in Germantown (which I do not). Clean, organized and filled with a good selection of bikes from high end disciplines to budget friendly work horses, the shop has a nice layout. Good mechanics, dedicated builders of high end bikes, and an honest and insightful approach to sales, I really like this shop.

Customer Service:
I purchased an Ellsworth Epiphany from them in 2010, they were very helpful and saved me a few bucks on the build. The bike was built and delivered in the time frame agreed upon (refreshing!) and they took the time to explain some of the bike attributes that I was not familiar with. I get the feeling that they want return customers instead of the single "big sale and see ya" that is so prevalent in the larger bike store chains.

Other Comments:
It's a great little shop, the owner is usually around and takes a vested interest in the work and in the sales. Got a question, they'll bend over backwards to answer it. Good guys all around-

Shop Summary:
Great shop, great owners / mechanics. One of the things I appreciate most about them is their willingness to answer questions. They all ride bikes as well and seem to be partial to mountain biking / trail riding but they have nice road bikes as well.

If you are looking for a high end custom build, a well built entry level bike or need a repair G-Town is the place. They took the time to help me resolve all my issues and select the best components for my custom build.

Customer Service:
Always helpful, pretty quick turn around times on repairs... sometimes right on the spot.

Shop Summary:
Germantown cycles is a great shop. The owner and mechanic are easy going and great to work with. The whole experience of purchasing and customizing my Giant was excellent. While other shops refused to accommodate my upgrade requests, Germantown Bikes were more than willing to make me satisfied with my purchase.

Customer Service:
The mechanic was awesome.

Other Comments:
My next bike purchase will definitely be with this shop.

Shop Summary:
The best shop in the greater DC Metro Area. I've never had a bad experience there and their stock offers an amazing selection of high-end frames and parts you won't find anywhere else in-store.

Customer Service:
Always a welcoming atmosphere and casual like a bike shop should be. I noticed no elitism or any vibe that would otherwise make me uncomfortable. Their mechanics really seem to know what they are doing and I have a hard time trusting my bike with anyone else.

Other Comments:
Even though it's close to an hour from my house it's still my top choice when I need special work done on my bike or a part another shop might not carry.
