Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: I came to this shop because of Donald Rucker. Donald used to own Avalon Cycles, and he built and sold me my Santa Cruz Superlight. He is a true ambassador for cycling, and an overall great human being.
The shop is well stocked, and staffed by friendly people who know their product and are not going to push a bike on you that isn't just right for your needs.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: The shop is located in historic downtown Mt Airy Off 70, make sure to slow down and look for the signs leading to the shop and the parking lot. The Yellow building has a Mountain biker on the front and red OPEN sign made out of a bicycle chain. The shop sells Specialized, Ellsworth and Jamis bikes so your covered for whatever type of riding your into too. Customer Service: I got a friendly hello when I came into the shop, a tour around showed a good selection of product and a well equipped service area. It got crowded when I was leaving but there was still plenty of room to get around and a good sized parking lot outside. From the top level brands and Donald Rucker on the sales floor Patapsco BIke and Sport is well worth the trip. Other Comments: I am came to the shop to see Donald Rucker, former owner of Avalon Cycles and Fleet Street Cycles, he is now working as a sales rep for the shop. Donald's enthusiasm for everything bikes is why I came to the shop to get advice on mountain biking, his suggestions were right on and he even got me think about different types of frame materials(streel Jamis Dragon). Go see Donald and he will take care of you!
