Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels)
that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your
customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML
code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»
Cycle Loft
Boston's professional choice for bicycles, service, clothing, and advice for 30 years. From our 16,000 square foot facility just 2 blocks from Route 128's exit 33A, we've got everything you could possibly want to help improve your cycling experience.
Shop Summary: Very large shop, with a very good selection of bicycles and accessories. IMHO, they cater much more to the road than the dirt crowd and can be opinionated and argumentative.
Customer Service: My most recent experience is indicative. They told me they would call when my pedal (Crank Bros) was fixed, and they never did call me back. I had to call them, and they said at first that they couldn't fix it. Then they call me back an hour later and say it is fixed. All this took longer than originally promised, and this is during the late fall / winter, so it is not as if they are all that busy. So they do get the job done, but it is not in the smoothest fashion.
Other Comments: There do not seem to be alot of serious mountain bikers who work at the shop. Although they are close to my workplace and very convenient for me, I decided NOT to purchase my Ibis from them due to this lack of dirt focus (in people, not products - they have a great selection of mountain bike parts).

Shop Summary: Excellent shop for serious road and mountain bikers while still providing services and selection for all levels of cyclists. Very high end bikes and part selection with a very knowledgeable staff.
Customer Service: The customer service has been outstanding. I purchased a high end mountain bike on sale in which the shop lost money on the deal. Still, they have backed up the sale 100% with tune ups and brake adjustments. I also had quite a bit of trouble with the front fork. After it initially failed they rebuilt it and after it failed again, they replaced it; all free of charge.
Other Comments: Overall, this is an outstanding shop. Anthony, the new owner is active in the cycling scene and everyone there provides an outstanding level of customer service. Great shop for all levels of cyclists.
