Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: The shop mainly caters to entry level riders. Most of the bikes in the store are designed for the Mesabi Trail, not much for down hill or cross country. Customer Service: The customer service is horrible. If you want to take lessons from someone on how not to run a bike shop go here. The owner's innability to communicate with people makes it hard for them to develop a great bike atmosphere like I have seen in a lot of other bike shops. Its apparent when you go to a bike shop and the owner stays open late to try and set you up and then even later to bull*#*# with you that they care about what they are doing. You would never get that at Bikes on Howard. It appears that making money is the only thing they care about. Other Comments: I would not recommend going to this bike shop. Bikes on Howard is notorious for doing extra work and charging before consulting the customer when fixing bikes. Its just not a very welcoming atmosphere like a lot of the bike shops I have been in. I would never take my bike back to Bikes on Howard.
