Racer Shop Summary: Visited this shop while passing through to the Cyclocross nationals. Found this owner to be pretty much a pompous jerk. Would certainly not purchase anything here.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: This shop is well stocked and they really know their stuff. The owner and the employees treat you right and are very knowledgable. Customer Service: Since the spring of 2004 I have purchased two bikes, a bike carrier, a Kool-Stop trailer, a few helmets, and other accessories there. I will always go to Red Wheel for all of my cycling needs. When you purchase a bike from them, they offer a yearly checkup for free which is great. One time I brought in my eldest sons bike (20' rims) that I bought online and wanted the brake and derailer adjusted (I was also wanting to order a Camelbak Mini-Mule for my youngest). They adjusted my eldest sons bike on the spot and didn't charge me!
Red Wheel totally rocks!

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Friendly, comfortable shop with a family feel. The owner took a lot of time explaining Binder trails to me when he found out I was headed that way. His info was a huge help! Customer Service: I've stopped in for accessories and am always impressed with the friendly service. Doesn't matter if I spend $1 or $50, I'm always treated like I'm their most important customer. Never had repairs done, but any time I've purchased a helmet, computer, etc, they always made sure they a)fit and b)fit my needs. Other Comments: If you are in the Jeff City area, I recommend this shop for info on local trails. I signed up for their emails, and though I've never gone on a group ride with them, I enjoy the humor and historical info included in many of them.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Never been in the shop, but I met the owners 5 days before the race at Binder Lake while they were checking out the race course. They most helpful giving me and my twin sons the low down on the course. Even showing us the cut through that would open race day so we wouldn't bomb by it! Organization and personal touch must mean a great shop too. I will stop in next time I head to the lake so I can back up the 5 star rating.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Tagged along with a buddy who wanted to check out the Binder Trail just minutes from the RWBS. Being 4-5 hours away, my buddy called ahead not only to make sure that the trail was worth a half days drive, but also to get accurate directions to the trailhead. Cool cat at RWBS was more then willing to help with directions and to shoot the breeze for a bit before and after the ride. He even had 2 regular customers who were headin' to the same trail lead us the way. Good call by my buddy to think ahead and make a great contact before the trip.
Shop was totally chill and informative without tryin' to push product on anyone. They even had a lil' DH video goin' to pass time.
Highly recommended shop if you live in the area. I'd go if I lived there. Hell, I'd fill out an application cause they were so cool. But now I live an extra 10 hours away to make that total drive around 15 hours. Regardless: Great shop, Great people, Great customer service. Binder Trail wasn't bad either. Other Comments: Speaking of that 15 hour drive....I saw the RWBS Honda Pilot parked right down the street here in Fort Collins, Colorado. Didn't have time to see why, but hopefully they saw my SUV parked outside my place with my Red Wheel Bike Shop sticker still proudly displayed on my rear window.
Ride Free boys and keep up the nation wide customer service or whatever it was you were doing up here in the Fort.
