Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Good shop. Good prices. High quality service. Not a huge operation.
Customer Service: They don't have a huge staff, so sometimes you have to wait while the previous customer is being helped.
Service is very personalized. They won't try to sell you something just so they can move it. They will really try to meet each customer's individual needs. Other Comments: Selection of in-stock bikes is fairly good, but they don't carry a huge selection of accessories and components. Not to worry, though cause they can order most anything and have it the same week usually.

Race Quality Mechanic . . . See Below. Other Comments: Peloton Cyclery may be a new store, but the owner has many years of Cycling experience. (He had work at other stores in the area.)
I have personally ridden on 3 pairs on of custom built wheels and 1 custom built rear track wheel with the spokes tied and soldered. (2 road sets, one mountain set, and 1 rear flip/flop track hub.) All of these wheels were hand built by the owner of Peloton Cyclery, and have held up over countless of miles and have stayed true.
Twice I cracked the outer legs on a Rockshox Judy. Both times the fork was totally disassembled and the outer stanchion legs and some internal part “sealed oil cartridge” was warrantied. On both occasions the forks was re-assemblied and worked like new. (I crashed into a large rock on the Chubb, and hit a tree on the Blue ribbon, Castlewood).
Currently, I am working on a 29er build with Peloton, and may pick up a road rig again if I embark on the Trailnet pave rides this summer.
Finally, a real shop in Saint Charles County, that has a really good mechanic.
