Shop Summary:
If you want a great set of wheels, give Chad a call. Never been to the shop but, based on my dealings with them so far, I would highly recommend Red Barn Bicycles.

Customer Service:
Recently had a set of wheels built by Chad at Red Barn Bikes based on some reading done here on MTBR. Chad answered all of my questions and was very easy to work with. Couldn't have been an easier transaction. Outstanding pricing on par or better than the large retailers. Extremely happy with the final product.

Whether buying wheels or other products, give Red Barn Bicycles a call, you won't be disappointed.

I live in the UK, so I have never been to Chads shop or Montana (its approximately 4,500 miles away) I have been buying stuff from Chad for about 4 years and in that time I have spent several thousand dollars on everything apart from a frame or complete bike and every order has been great, Chads pricing and service is first class.

Customer Service:
Excellent, 5 flaming chillies

Other Comments:
I just wish his shop was close enough to visit. Don't worry about the web site, pick up the phone, talk to Chad and be prepared to be "MADE HAPPY"

Shop Summary:
Bought complete bike. Very knowledgable & a definate expert. Great discussion about build and components to suit my needs. Price was good. Wheel build was awesome. Magura brakes set up awesome. Frame damaged in delivery but Ventana took care of it. A few communication mixups on bike setup and a couple of things that should have been taken care of.

Shop Summary:
I've never physically been to Red Barn Bikes, and I don't find their website to be all that impressive. However, Chad's reputation as a knowledgeable, passionate cyclist and a honest businessman is WELL deserved.

Customer Service:
Honestly, I have no idea how he does it. If he treats every customer as well as he's treated me, I have no idea where is profit margin comes from or when he finds time to sleep.
The customer service is as good as his prices; and his follow-up post-purchase is outstanding. Even with the inevitable problems that arise, Chad's always left me stoked. I have no reservations recommending him to anyone.

Oh, and he builds a rock solid wheel too.

Although I'm not local to Redbarn Bicycles, I think of them as my LBS. Great prices and outstanding customer service. Chad is always helpful, honest, and responsive. He understands and takes the time to make sure the customer gets products and services that make sense.

They go out of their way to help and do quality work.

Regardless of where you are, I can highly recommend Redbarn.
