Shop Summary:
-Excellent service, I won't let anyone but Mark or Erik wrench my bike...
-More than fair rates & fast turnaround
-Patient with my finicky ways...
-Friendly

Customer Service:
-First rate in my book. I am a regular but don't recall ever getting ignored as mentioned below. I've bought plenty from them including a road frame which they built up to perfection but they've fixed and maintained all the bikes in our household like they were their own.

-Only bike store in Sparks (except for Scheels which has awful service and next to no knowledge of bikes) but I've shopped and used most of the other shops in Reno and Mother Lode is the best.

Other Comments:
Wish they had a bit better selection of bikes but they can order whatever you need, just ask. Decent prices too, especially with the level of service and support provided.

Shop Summary:
I have been to mother lode twice and still have not had any employee acknowledge me once. I went in the first time with my girlfriend and we were looking at bikes as she wanted a beginners bike and I was looking for a full suspension mountain bike. We were there about 15 minutes with no salesman or any employee greeting us or asking us if we needed help. We left buying nothing. I went in again today with my father who was in from out of town looking for a helmet, bike shorts and gloves. We were there for approximately 20 minutes and I tried on several helmets and my dad was looking a shorts. Again no saleman even acknowledged our presence, and in fact I really couldnt tell who the customers were and who was working. Again we left without buying anything and I will NEVER go there again. I would never suggest this shop to anybody as the service was horrible.

Customer Service:
There was absolutely no customer service. Nobody asked us if we needed help or even greeted us.

Shop Summary:
complete service shop for mtn and road bikes.

Customer Service:
awesome service and friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Other Comments:
this is where i got my first mtn bike (nrs 2), my second (trance 1) from eric. awesome dudes namely mark, eric, chad, nicholas, charles, dave and everybody in there. they have been selling giants, fisher, and lately santa cruz for mtn stuff. giant and felt for road and redline for bmx stuff too. they offer competitive rates for maintenance on any brand bikes, and yes they do take care of the regulars.

Shop Summary:
Nice Shop. Good Selection

Customer Service:
The reason I'm writing this is actually because of the excellent service this shop offers. Employees are very knowledgeable on the products they sell, and are more that willing to take the time to explain then to you. When I was in there recently looking for a light then gentleman I was talking to took more time explaining products, and even my bike than any employee at the shop where I actually purchased my bike. I would recommend this shop. In fact I sent my girlfriend there to look, and being new to the sport she was bit overwhelmed by all the 'bells and whistles', but they took the time answer all her questions, and she'll be picking up her new bike in a couple weeks.
