Shop Summary:
For reasons not under my control, I had to cancel a planned purchase of a bike. I have a $700 deposit there and have spent 5 days calling both Back Bay Bicycles and Papa Wheelies to contact the owner, Dan Houston, to issue a refund. He owns both shops and won't return my calls. I never had any work done to either bike I was looking at (I changed my mind once) and since my truck died I now need $2600 to repair the engine, so I need the refund.

Nat and the crew have been very helpful but they insisted I had to contact Dan for a refund.

I get the feeling Dan is avoiding calling me and addressing this issue. I never took delivery of any bike and I just want my deposit back. The refund policy is not in writing anywhere in the shop nor on my receipt.

Shop Summary:
very good shop, my favorite, i get here when i can, almost always has what i need in stock, thats not to common for heavy duty downhill parts that i need.

Customer Service:
great, no problems, done what they said they were going to do and they do it well.

Other Comments:
i only have one complaint, but its not specific to this shop, ITS EXPENSIVE. it would be much cheaper to get most of the things they sell here for 100 bucks for like 30-50 bucks. but when you cant wait for shipping, or you want someone to help you out and service your bike, this is the place to go if you can get to it.

staff are the best around.
