Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels) that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»
Tri City Bicycles

This is the classic small town bike shop. He deals almost exclusively with Specialized but can get Iron Horse and Jamis as well. Good selection of BMX. Has decent stock of mid priced Specialized and a few Stumpies usually. He can order anything you want though. Mark, the owner is a fun, easy going guy who really knows his cycling stuff. You can go in and hang out and talk bikes anytime. The selection is what you would expect for a small town bike shop but the ordering is super fast. Usually within a couple of days at the most. I am in the process of ordering an 08' FSR XC PRO from him right now. I would highly recommend going in to buy from him. Give the LBS your money for your next bike not the internet.

Shop Summary:
Tri-City is a small shop with a few bikes and parts in stock. If Mark carries it and it is not in stock the longest I ever waited was seven days, an that was due to UPS shipping the bike to the wrong place. This place is "compact" and if you do not see what you are looking for just ask; an Mark will know if it is there or not.

Customer Service:
FIRST RATE!!! When it comes to service Mark is a "give you the shirt off his back kind of guy". He does not care if you are 9 or 90, when it comes to bikes he's there for you.

Other Comments:
I've purchased 4, yup thats right 4 bikes from Tri-City. I am what can be considered a "mizer" when it comes to cash flow, but at Tri-City you get loads more than a bike, it is money well spent. Best of all Mark works with kids in the local area of Rochester by sponsoring events geared towards them.

Shop Summary:
I submitted the bike shop for review. It is a great shop and Mark is a very nice guy to deal with. I actually enjoy spending money there. I can't say that about every shop I have been into over the years. You don't get the holier than thou attitude going here. The previous owner was a total tool. If you didn't want to drop $3000 on a bike he didn't want to talk to you. Mark bought the place about 3 years ago and has totally transformed what that bike shop is.

Customer Service:
Great customer service overall. Sometimes you have to wait awhile because it is a small shop and he can get very busy. I think he has hired a person to help out though.

Other Comments:
Highly recommend.
