Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Great shop, carries all kinds of High end bikes, components, clothing etc. Great variety of items to choose from. Bikes they carry are Trek, Cannondale, Scott and Gary Fischer. Customer Service: I have been going into this store on and off for about 2 years and I have never had a problem with the service. I am not the kind of person who expects everyone to treat me special, but I have always been able to get the help I needed in a professional way. I think the staff is very educated in bike knowledge and if they don't know the answer they tell me and try to get the best answer for what I am looking for. I started going into this store cuz 2 years ago I moved to fairfield and it was convenient, I use to go to campmour before that is where I bought my first bike. (Kona). I had been a big believer that Kona was the only bike that could handle my size until I started talking to Mike and Eric about the new Remedy that Trek was coming out with and I was looking for a second bike anyway. I bought the remedy, got it May 1st, I love the bike, I haven't been on my Kona since. I guess what I am trying to say is that I bought this bike just on the word of the people who work at cycle craft, without ever seeing the bike in person because this was March and the remdy's werent coming out until end of April or beginning of May. Other Comments: Mike and Eric do a great job explaining how everything works to me for the type of riding I like to do. Mike the mechanic is excellent at what he does, he has been fixing my Kona for the last 2 years and he hasn't had to fix the remedy yet cuz it is only a month old , but when it needs it I know Mike or another mechanic will do a great job with it. I haven't been to a whole bunch of bike shops, but I think Cycle Craft in Parsippany is worth checking out for any of your biking needs. Believe me I was hesitant to bring my kona their the first time cuz I knew they didn't sell kona's and i wasn't sure if they would work on it, but they did with no problem, many times and now I bought a trek from them and I am very happy with the bike, the store, service. Keep up the good work cycle craft!

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: My husband and I have been shopping for a new bike. We have visited some of the local bike shops and found Cycle Craft far superior in inventory and customer service. Brendan ran a seminar from Trek called Woman on Wheels, which I attended. I learned how to change a bike tire and also got many pointers and helpful tips. I would highly recommend this bike shop to anyone looking for a bike. Not only is there a large selection of bike, but they also have a nice selection of accessories. Customer Service: We found the staff at Cycle Craft to be very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. They took the time to explain the differences in the bikes and didn't try to push us into any decision. Cathy was especially helpful to me since I am a newbie and it was nice to get a woman to woman perspective. We have been to the shop several times and have been helped by different people and can honestly say that everyone was very helpful and anxious to assist us in any way they could.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Welcome back Brad!!! I was glad to see that Brad Battista has joined CC Long Valley crew – you might remember him from the CC Chester store. Brad is a top notch wrench and great guy – he built me a set of CX/winter training wheels 6+ years ago that are still running true many miles and potholes later. Customer Service: Second to none. Road, cross country, downhill, single speed, ... Jeff and Brad will keep you rolling with a smile on your face.

Downhiller Shop Summary: they suck. They sold me a bike that wasn't even put toghether the right way. I will admitthat some of the staff is friendly but most of the staff are all jerks. Customer Service: horrible. They dont care about their customers. the only good thing about this store is that they have a few bikes for each type of riding. Other Comments: I will never give this company another penny. If you are looking for a bike store in the Long Valley Hackettstown area go to Martys Reliable Cycle.Martys is the best bike store I've been to. the staff knows what their talking about and they care more about helping their customers than making a sale.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: I use the Cylecraft Long Valley shop because it's closer than Parsippany although smaller but as my mother once told me the best things come in small packages.
The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgable. I trust them completely with all my maintenance and upgrades and I have improved my cycling skills tremendously through my participation in their weekend rides and the wealth of advice I have received from their staff.
Store location notwithstanding, Cyclecraft runs a very customer focussed business. They stand by their price guaranty and their workmanship. They work hard to find you whatever you need in terms of parts and equipment.
I have bought several bikes from them over the past few years and have been very impressed at how hard they worked to find the bike that was right for me rather than just try to sell me something in stock.
Clearly at Cyclecraft the customer comes first: that is a very rare quality these days and one that should be applauded and supported. Customer Service: The best - they go above and beyond any reasonable expectations. Other Comments: I saw a few other reviews that I found curious:
To the person that was dismayed about the waiting time for repairs in the summer (doh) I would ask whether he/she ever gets "walk-in, on demand " service for car maintenance - I suspect not so get real and plan ahead.
For the person who complained about the results of a small adjustment to their bike: if it was that small you should have fixed it yourself. Assuming you didn't because you don't know what you are doing then shame on you and heaven help you if you have the need for a "small adjustment" when you are out there alone on a real ride (and you will - trust me you will). Anyway, why didn't you just take it back if you weren't happy - who knows you might have learned something.
