Shop Summary:
My wife, an absolutely total novice, bought an entry level Gary Fisher mountain bike (like $400) at Cottonwood. On the first run and within the first 100 yards on a basic gravel road, the chain pops off and in the process the frame somehow cracks where it connects at the rear wheel (was the bike assembled properly to begin with?). She took the bike back to Cottonwood to see what could be done and the manager (???) actually was such a dick and so unhelpful he made her cry. Anyhow, Gary Fisher did eventually stand behind their product and made it right but these guys at Cottonwood had the audacity to charge her on top of everything to reassemble the parts on the new frame. In my opinion, they're low class.

Customer Service:
Horrendous.

Other Comments:
Perhaps these guys are fine for the extreme riders; however, they're terrible for regular folks, don't stand behind their work/products and were beyond rude to my wife.

Shop Summary:
Great selection of bikes and gear. Really good repair shop with guys who know what they're doing.

Customer Service:
Top-notch, extra-mile treatment from Ralph, Mike, Brandy, Matt. Free 90 days maint when you buy a new bike. Anything you need to know about riding from trails to upkeep, just ask.

Other Comments:
Cottonwood has become a favorite hang-out for me. Ralph has become a good friend and a real help in getting into mountain biking. Mike is a consumate wrench man and an awesome rider. Don't know many LBS mechs who will invite a beginner to go ride with them and offer pointers. Brandy is an angel always ready to help. You'll get expert advice, a great selection of bikes, accessories, local and area trail information and maybe even make some really good friends.
