Downhiller Shop Summary: There is one mechanic that knows what he is doing. The rest are recruits from Burger King.
I spent 4 years working there to get cheap product.
10% of the employees ride bikes, the others are just there to sell stuff. No mid or highend knowledge in the place. Customer Service: It is ok. Other Comments: Look for a smaller shop with real riders working there.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Large professional shop with 30 employees (in season), also sells MX and motorsport gear. ATVs and such. Customer Service: Good shop, I have bought 5 bikes over the years. Helpful people, nice once you get to know them. Consistant pricing, will give a discount on new bikes if you ask. Other Comments: Bert's sometimes gets a bad rap from people that expect freebies. But I like them, will buy from them again.
