Shop Summary:
Dark Horse Cycles is a small shop with a good supply of bikes. If you don't see what you want just ask. The guys will find it or order it for you.

Customer Service:
George and Mike will get you on your way. With a new bike or a repair on your old bike.
Don't know what you want just ask them. I'm sure they will help you. What I like about the shop the guys will take the time to fit you to your new bike. Or adjust the old bike to make it a better ride for you.

Other Comments:
Dark Horse Cycles has a race called the Dark Horse 40. It a race that's 40 miles long and brings a big turn out.
They also have a single speed race that will be big in the next few years.
George is not just a owner he is a rider and good person to talk to.
He will stop on a trail and help you out if need.
So stop by and say Hi to the guys a Dark Horse Cycles.

Shop Summary:
Clean, nice selection of gear/equipment, nice selection of bikes.

Customer Service:
I've visited this shop several times, generally when I need a last minute item, quick fix or emergency repair while riding Stewart Buffer. These guys are friendly, quick, do very good work and are always willing to chat up bikes and trails. Very worth stopping in the shop if you are visiting the Buffer Zone Trails.

Shop Summary:
If you are looking for a shop with great service and a great selection of bikes and equipment you need not go anywhere but Dark Horse Cycles in Montgomery N.Y..

George (the bike guy) at Dark Horse Cycles was selected my Mountainbike Action magazine in September as the best bike shop in New York. His bike selection is Specialized, Titus Cycles, Santa Cruz and Seven Cycles.

Customer Service:
George runs two races a year at Stewart Buffer zone with a party atmosphere; he runs a Thursday road from his shop, he also introduced a lot of riders to night riding at a Wednesday night ride, and he has also set up day trips to area like Blue Mountain, Jockey Hill, Fell Mountain, and Prompton State Park. At the shop he is extremely knowable in all types of repair an is willing to help you with any problem. He also runs two swaps and sells a year so you can get rid of the things that you don’t need anymore and pick up something that someone else doesn’t need.

Other Comments:
To George getting out there is the most important thing and he will do anything to help you get there.
