Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels) that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»

Personable bike shop that has what you need, and handles your needs with attention to detail. The mechanics and owners know bikes in-and-out (road and mountain). Their expertise and professionalism will keep you coming back. Not to mention, they will keep your wheels spinning true as ever. They don't push things on you you don't want or need; they assist you with what's best for you that you're looking to do on the bike. Needless to say, if you're addicted to bikes/biking, this is the place to go!

Shop Summary:
Been dealing with Doug and Linda since they were on Jericho turnpike by the Greenbelt. I remember them coming there and helping out bikers with what they needed. When they open the shop in Bethpage me and a few others would just hang out in the shop till about 11 or 12am, just hanging and talking about everything. Met a lot of people and riders there as well. I now live in NJ and still order my parts though them. I just finished a Turner that i got though them as well as all the parts Great people and great prices. I wont go anywhere else for parts.

Customer Service:
Top notch. Will get you WHAT you need and not what you WANT.

Other Comments:
Highly recommend this shop. You wont be disappointed.

Shop Summary:
Excelent brand selection and excelent bike selection from each brand. Great inventory of components and excellent technical knowledge also. The place is not huge, but they always have what you need because they know what is important for riders. Owners know their stuff and will help you as much as they can. Real riders selling stuff to real riders. Money does not come first for them. You will get a good deal, most likely the best you can get around. You will also get good advice. There are several great shops in Long Island and this one is for sure one of the best.

Customer Service:
Definitely the strongest asset of Bike Junkie. Linda and Douglas will invest time in you and give you the best advice offering you the best solution for what you need and what you want. And they are concious about your pocket.

Other Comments:
Great people, great bikes, great service, great prices, and great people (just in case you missed it).

Shop Summary:
Owned and operated by well informed mountain and road bikers who will do everything they can for you. Professional repairs, wheel builds, bike fit and much more. Their prices are right and sales with absolutely no pressure; truly what is best for you. They ride the local trails and donate to the local biking organizations. In addition, a great place to hang out and many people do just that.

Customer Service:
CS is second to none and professional.

Other Comments:
If every LBS was like this one nobody would buy online. Their prices are great and they do all the little things for you, anything to get your bike on the trail. Tinkering with your bike and need help, small parts, something installed quick (headset etc) and they are right there for you.

This is more than just a great store, its like having your friends own a bike shop. You can hang out there and meet other bikers and everyone that goes there seems to know each other.

I always get great advice there, like when they recommended a particular bike for me (I have many) because they knew I would get it soon after the one I was going to purchase. Try getting another LBS to know you so well and keep you from buying two bikes.
