Shop Summary:
Initially, I was impressed by the size of the shop so I decided to take my bike there for a simple fixed gear conversion. However that was dashed by my experience within the store. I asked them to re-dish my rear wheel for conversion and he told me “You don’t have to do that to convert to a fixie.” Which I corrected him on and he insisted until he looked at the bike and said that he would have to move the hub over to change the chain line and to do that he would have to re-dish the wheel. (I’m not an idiot, thank you very much.) First of all, they told me it was going to take 4 days to do a 1 hour job. Second of all, when I called the morning I was to pick it up it hadn't even been started yet. The guy on the phone assured me that "We will definitely call you when it's done." So 6 o'clock rolls around and I decide to give a call back. They tell me it is done (Thanks for that phone call I was DEFINITELY going to get.) When I arrived I stood at the desk for maybe 5 minutes waiting for someone to talk to me and finally I was asked if I needed help by the same kid I dropped my bike off to just 4 days earlier. (Absolutely no recognition of who I was even though we chatted for a good 10-15 minutes.) They bring my bike out only for me to find that the cog I had (which THEY sold me) didn't fit. So they decided to take it upon themselves to switch cogs from my 17 tooth Surly cog to a 18 tooth generic cog without so much as a phone call to let me know they were thinking about doing so. I told them that their work was unsatisfactory and that I didn't want an 18 tooth which is why I bought a 17 tooth.

Customer Service:
Immediately I started getting attitude from the kid that worked on the bike and he told me "No, man I rode it. It rides good." (Which it doesn't but I'll get to that in a second) I told him again why I didn't want an 18 tooth cog before another kid asked me if I wanted them to switch it out. I said yes and he informed me that it would take a week to get a 17 tooth cog that will work on my bike. "Ok what now? Do I leave my bike here?" I asked he told me I could take it for the next week and he'd call me when the cog arrived.

Other Comments:
The bottom line? If you don't know about fixed gear bikes, don't pretend you do! It's a fairly simple equation. This shop's actions have been very unprofessional and downright dangerous. That's OK; I'm not that fond of my front teeth anyway. And I’m not holding my breath for that phone call either.

Shop Summary:
This shop is my favorite and I judge all others by it. The staff is great and quick to handle repairs, I've had my bike taken care of on short notice (a few hours ) and was riding it by the evening. Their mechanics are excellent and prices are very reasonable, especially when the trails are perfect and you tell them to just get it fixed regardless of the cost. I've never been burned by then and I highly recommend!

Customer Service:
Nice people who care about customer satisfaction.

Shop Summary:
It's a nice smaller shop, but packed with quite a bit of stuff. You'll find a bit better deals online, but that is always the case with bike shops.

Customer Service:
The time I was in there, there were 3 employees, all helping me with my questions and we're genuinely friendly.
