Shop Summary:
Nice new shop with a mildly trendy artistic look. Pretty good location, only a few minutes from I-84 which makes the shop accessible from PA in the east or CT from the west, plus north and south is covered by the Taconic State Parkway or the T-way. The big plus is they are a young crew, they are riders and have grip on the latest and greatest. Tom is an official dealer of Kona, Intense, Jamis, Surly, DK and We The People.

Customer Service:
I was quite happy with the communication and the minor issue that was worked on. Tom and company have a great future...

Other Comments:
Beacon Cycles is my shop....

Shop Summary:
As soon as I walked into the shop I felt like I wouldnt be ignored and I was right. As soon as I began looking I was met by a smile. It wasn't the usual " Can I help you". It was more of a " come on in and relax".. I wasn't pushed into buying a thing or felt like I was just a browser. I spent about a hour talking about downhill and freeriding. After all that I walked out with a new Kona coilair. Damn I love that bike and Tom, Guss and Ryan were right, it fit me perfect. If you want a relax atmosphere go to Beacon Cycles you wont be disappointed.

Customer Service:
After riding a few days my rear wheel spokes came loose. I called the shop and I was met at the top of one of our local parks by Ryan. He tightened my spokes and we were off. I know that not all customers would get this service, but I couldnt believe that he showed. The next day I dropped the bike off for a service and Guss took care of me. He tuned me up and trued my wheel.

Other Comments:
If you want professional service and a non pushy atmosphere take a trip to Beacon Cycles. You wont be disappointed. They deal in Kona, Jamis, Surly, DK and Intense (which I would love to have) Bikes. They also have a good supply of parts and accessories you may need for a daily ride. Go in and say hi to Tom, Guss or Ryan, tell them Jon sent you. Take a load off and watch some videos.

Shop Summary:
The shop had a very small town feel. Nothing was over the top and in your face. The shop employees seemed very passionate about the sport they represent. They knew the littlest details about bikes they had and wanted me to get the best fit possible.

Customer Service:
Small repair shop but very organized. The service was beyond what I expected.

Other Comments:
Looking for a good deal on Jamis or Kona? Then this is the place for you. They will go out of their way to get you a deal.
