A full service bike shop offering something for the kids to their grandparents. A great local shop to deal with. Honest, knowledgable, and dependable customer service. The same can be said for the other shops in Raleigh and Cary.

Highly recommended.

Shop Summary:
I know some of my friends swear by this place, so maybe it is me, or maybe it is my size, or whatever. The times I have been in there I felt like they were trying to sell me something. Giant is their bread and butter, but if Giant isn't working out for a particular prospective buyer, then p-$$ on specialized cause it's not where your money is made. After trying three different ocr's and a tcr, they finally seemed to remember, oh hey, we have this specialized but really it's just the same as giant's ocr. OK, well lo and behold, it fit great. But after feeling like I'd been talked down to for about an hour and worked over, as if he didn't close the sale right then and there I'd never buy from him, I finally left.

And people wonder why local bike shops are going under!

Unless you come in to some of these shops with some sort of cycling cred' (try going in 40 pounds overweight and get taken seriously, not just here, but any local shop), you may as well be something stuck to the bottom of their shoe.

Other Comments:
The bottom line is, some people swear up and down that all star is the greatest, no problem. But for me, I felt like I was just a shmo who needed to be separated from his money. I dealt directly with the owner and if that is how the owner treats me, I am sure his staff takes their cue from him and so I ended up staying on my trusty old steel bianchi. But when I do have to buy again, I'll not have all star on my list. condescending. oversimplification of the features advantages and benefits not only of the bikes but various components such as the saddle and the shimano drivetrains. Quote "Ultegra is just 105 with a nicer finish."

Service has always been excellent. I have always had confidence in the work performed and the price charged. They are honest and make every effort to repair before replacing.

Other Comments:
All the shops are locally owned and the staff takes the time to assist with cycling needs. I highly recommend All Star.

ALLSTAR in CARY is great! Been going there for 10 Yrs now and bought 3 bikes. Will continue to go there. Shop owner Don is the best.

Customer Service:
Always been excellent. They take the time to fix it right and on time.

Other Comments:
5 Stars all the way.

Lucky thing I calmed down a bit after reading the comments that superdiver247 and greasyfatman wrote. Totally out of line and unwarranted. No further comment needed but it really ticks me off when people make comments that are totally untrue.

Shop Summary:
I have been buying my bikes and parts from all star bike shops for the past 5+ years. They have always been able to get the parts I wanted and charged me very reasonable rates for labor.

Customer Service:
great
