Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels) that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»
cycle logic

no poseurs, no bling, just bikes. He is probably the best, fastest, most reasonably priced repairs (by far), most reliable and most consistent mechanic in raleigh. As far as bikes go, he will deal if you have a better deal on the same or very similar bike. No I am not affiliated with him other than as a customer for his service. I bought my bike on ebay. He doesn't whine about that, either.

I have taken my bike to him for just about everything, the few times i have taken it elsewhere out of convenience or feeling i owe it to someone, I always come away regretting it and feeling ripped off. Most other shops around have people doing their service work who haven't seen 1/10th as much as Ed Gaddy.

I can't tell you how many times i have taken my bike in for something minor, he fixed it for free right away and sent me on my way. No questions asked. I didn't even buy my bike from him.

I think I have taken every kids bike on my street to him for something or other.

If you can't park directly in front of the store, there is a parking lot next to the building towards Morgan St.

Shop Summary:
i moved from San Diego and had heard about the shop from my cousin that went to Duke. and he would drive to cycle logic to get his Fisher Carbon maint. there so i thought it had to be good. at first i thought this it was going to be a hole in the wall over priced junkyard. but after meeting the staff and seeing how good he made my bike work i was VERY impressed. also no one does tune ups for cheaper. $30 will get get your bike back to NEW. and anyone who says different is a liar. as long as i am in Raleigh i will not ltake my bike anywhere else.

Customer Service:
GREAT!!!

Shop Summary:
Cycle Logic is by far the best bike shop in the land. No frills, no punk 18yr olds trying to sell you a bike you don't need, just great bikes at great prices from a man who knows his business.

I have purchased my last four bikes from Ed and have been very pleased with the price and the service. As long as Ed stays in business I don't see myself buying a bike anywhere else!

NOTE: If you are a weight ninny looking to spend $600 more for titanium coated kevlar brake cables that weight 1/2 a gram less than the standard ones this is probably not the store for you. Somehow I feel this is probably just fine with Ed.
