Grassroots Bikes

Grassroots Bikes is not just an ordinary bike shop. It’s a mission driven shop. You won’t find the big name brands at GRB, because we’re not big name brand kind of people. You’ll find the socially conscious, grassroots brands that exist for a reason... “because we believe that bikes can save the world...”

Grassroots Bikes is a mountain bike boutique. Brands like Vassago and Soma make up the heart of our new bike collection. Whether your looking for an urban commuter, a geared 26er or a single speed 29er, Grassroots Bikes has got your needs covered. And there’s plenty of pre-loved bikes also floating around too...

By purchasing your next ride through Grassroots Bikes, your not just buying another bike. Instead your buying into a cause that is actually helping local kids. Every dollar made on the sale of these bikes goes directly back to support the Trips For Kids - Triangle chapter. What better way to feed your habit than by helping someone else out in return.

Shop Summary:
Small shop with a big heart. It's a non-profit so the money isn't wasted on fancy displays and what not. It's also not open regular hours and is by appointment only.

Customer Service:
Customer service was great. Handled most of the communication via email. I went to the shop and they put me on multiple bikes to help determine which size frame would be best as I was close between two sizes. They went WAY out of their way to ensure I was comfortable with my purchase.

I left a deposit and the bike was ordered. Clear communication throughout the entire process. I really couldn't ask for anything more.

Had a great price on the bike I wanted. Gave me a couple options for things that were similarly priced but didn't try to push anything on me.

Other Comments:
After receiving not the best service when I was trying to buy the bike from other dealers, I'm glad I found this place.
