Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: You don't always get the chance to feel good about being a consumer. At Grassroots Bikes, you can feel good about absolutely every aspect of buying your bike: the brands they carry are brands you can feel good about riding and supporting; their profit structure supports the non-profit organization Trips for Kids of the Triangle, which works to get at-risk kids on bikes and help them experience the outdoors; and the passionate folks who run the whole show are just good people. Customer Service: Customer service was top-notch. They were responsive to emails, always willing to set up appointments that worked for my schedule, and provided me with several options that would fit my needs and budget. There was no pressure to buy, and I ended up getting a great bike (Redline Monocog) at a great price. Other Comments: The shop is open by appointment right now, but they're planning to expand their hours and their services soon. If you live in or near Durham you should check them out.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Grassroots Bikes is amazing!! Just purchased a hard-to-find bike from Grassroots Bikes and the entire transaction - from start to finish - was a breeze. Andrea, in particular, was amazingly courteous and professional, and got me set up with exactly what I needed and had it shipped my way in no time at all. Great/prompt communication, friendly and knowledgable staff, and sales that benefit an awesome cause - what more could you possibly ask for!? A++ in my book!! Customer Service: Top-notch!

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Small shop with a big heart. It's a non-profit so the money isn't wasted on fancy displays and what not. It's also not open regular hours and is by appointment only. Customer Service: Customer service was great. Handled most of the communication via email. I went to the shop and they put me on multiple bikes to help determine which size frame would be best as I was close between two sizes. They went WAY out of their way to ensure I was comfortable with my purchase.
I left a deposit and the bike was ordered. Clear communication throughout the entire process. I really couldn't ask for anything more.
Had a great price on the bike I wanted. Gave me a couple options for things that were similarly priced but didn't try to push anything on me. Other Comments: After receiving not the best service when I was trying to buy the bike from other dealers, I'm glad I found this place.
