Julie's Mountain Bikes
4 reviews
 4 of 5

Located right in Hueston Woods Trails. Julie's has an internet based arm in bikerbob.com where you can mailorder.

Not a fancy website, but just contact Bob and he'll hook you up.

Aside from maintaining and developing mt. bike specific trails, we offer guided tours, trailside repair shop, and a full line of bikes, parts, and service.

Julie's Mountain Bikes is an all wood building and completely solar powered. Trail maps and advice, as well as a bulletin board for local mt. bike info can be found there. The 12+ miles of singletrack are a great place to bring riders of all skill levels, rent a bike or helmet, try out an off-road tandem, or participate in or watch a race. And if you break something on your bike, you're never more than a mile or two from repairs or replacement parts at Julie's Mountain Bikes. Or try out a new saddle, seatpost, tire, or bike on the trails. Clif Bars, bottled water, and sports drinks are always available

Shop Summary:
Just a little cabin in the state park where Bob rents bikes and takes care of you.

Customer Service:
Bob gave me a good price on a Titus frame and he put together a nice package for the parts that I needed. He was very knowledgable and helpful in suggesting what parts he thought would work out the best for my build. I drove over there and he helped me put the bike together.

Other Comments:
A great guy working out of a neat little state park where I'm going to have to get over there and ride some of his trails with him sometime.

Shop Summary:
Nothing special about the shop, except that it's right there across from the trails at Hueston Woods - but Bob will bend over backwards to make sure you're taken care of.

Customer Service:
Unbeatable.
Bob takes care of things on the spot, instead of having to leave your bike for up to days like you may find at other shops. If he's got the parts and you have the time - Bob will take care of whatever.

Other Comments:
Bought my last bike from Bob, and I could not be happier with the bike and the service since. I highly recommend BikerBob, at Julie's.

Shop Summary:
Terrible shop. High prices. Bob tries to trick you into his little scams. Avoid.

Customer Service:
Worst CS of any shop I've dealt with.
Avoid.

Shop Summary:
Great Prices, Great attention by Bob.
Not a fancy site, but just ask Bob what you want and he'll try to make you a happy customer.

Customer Service:
Outstanding CS. Very knowledgeable guy and a MUST place to ask around for all things Titus.

Other Comments:
This is one of those "LBS's" that don't mind being thousands of miles away to make you happy and stand by what you bought from them.
Accessible to foreign customers too, Bob will ship everywhere in the world with killer prices and helping you out to save as much as possible.
