Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: I will be the first to admit that Bike Authority does not have a huge selection of Mountain Bikes, it is clearly not their thing.
What they lack in selection they make up for in professionalism. I have lived all over the country and have visited bike shops in most of the 50 states. I would have to say that Bike Authority ranks amongst the top.
Not just an eCommerce sell it and forget it shop and so much more than your average "Brick and Mortar" retail store. Customer Service: The finest I have seen. Staffed with people that ride / race and love to be in the saddle. Other Comments: Voted Best Bike Shop in Cleveland 2 years in row ('07 & '08) and looking to make it a third.
I would recommend Bike Authority to anyone. Do not believe everything you read here, especially from a couple of people who both clearly have an affinity for a competing shop. Come on..... you both recommend the same shop? You must work there.

Racer Shop Summary: Very small selection of mountain bikes and gear. Almost everything in the shop is roadie stuff. The prices are unusually high, and once in the shop it feels like your not welcome, well unless you shave your legs and and decked out in spandex. Customer Service: Haha what customer service? they usually have about 4 to 5 guys in the shop at a time. Most of which just stand in the back, i have not once been offered a bit of assistance. Employees here always try to make me feel inferior and talk down to me like i have no idea what i am doing. When it fact it is them that BS their way through conversations, im not ignorant. Other Comments: They will over-charge you on just about everything. especially repairs. Many friends of mine have had bad experiances with repairs as well as customer service. Just beware. your better off going to eddy's.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Poor selection of merchandise, even poorer customer-retention skills Customer Service: Non-existent Other Comments: If you expect to keep a customer coming back how about not charging them $15 to turn an allen wrench 1 centimeter to adjust a derailleur. Seriously, did you break your freaking back doing all that work? Go to Eddy's, they'll take care of you.

Racer Shop Summary: I have been going to Bike Authority for about a year now. It is way better than any other bike shop in the area that I have gone to. All the employees there are friendly and very helpful. Bike Authority is certified in bike fitting and they are not going to sell you a bike that doesn't fit you as someone mentioned above. When I got fitted for my bikes I could tell a difference. I was more comfortable, confident, and felt my pedal strokes were more powerful. Whenever there is a mechanical problem with my bikes they solve it, within good time too. My bikes work great whether Im racing cross country or going out for a road bike ride. When buying a product, they will find what you need even if they have to order it. I recommend this shop to any of my friends/family or anyone else who is sick of going to a shop that doesn't care about their customers and their bikes. Customer Service: Phenominal, it's nice to meet a group of people who know how to run a bike shop. Other Comments: I would recommend going to Bike Authority to see for yourself what a nice shop it is. I would also suggest getting fitted to your bike there.

Racer Shop Summary: Ok, I have to say these guys are horrible with service. They used a piece of a SNACK FOOD wrapper to shim my fork/headset crown race! I mean, COME ON!! Of course it destroyed my fork. And I know a ton of other people who have been screwed by them too. BEWARE! Customer Service: Read above Other Comments: Read Above
