Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels) that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»

Shop Summary:
One of three bike shops in a small town. I usually don't buy much from them because they are expensive. I bought a bike from them because they were the only dealer for that model bike within 100 miles.

Customer Service:
Bad as it gets. When I bought a new bike; the owner tried to pinch the shock pump that was supposed to come with it. I had to go back to get the pump so I could ride the bike. The $2600 Giant looked like it was set up by a chimpanzee; I had to go over the entire bike and redo much of it, plus it came with a flat front tire. The brake pads had to be replaced after scoring and gouging the new rotors; the bike shop was "too busy" to take care of it; I had to do it myself. After a month and a half; the rear hub fell apart, taking the chain with it. Once again; Discover is "too busy" to fix it. Bike is now unrideable.

Other Comments:
I can say with no problem that the management of Discover Bikes is dishonest and incompetent. I wish I would have never done business with them.

Shop Summary:
Discover bikes has got it all. These guys and gals know their stuff and really, they have everything. DH, Cross country, high end, entry level, kids bikes, bmx, dirt jump, unicycles, road bikes, cross bikes. It's an impressive shop and I'm psyched that it's my local shop!

Customer Service:
Customer service is always great. They usually have one or two people working on the sales floor another one or two working in the repair shop so I've rarely had to wait for help. The folks that work at Discover know their bikes and if they don't have what you need they'll find a way to get it for you.

Other Comments:
They've got a big screen TV that's always playing Roam or the Collective so it's pretty easy to get sucked in. There's also tons of great riding within minutes of the shop and these guys can tell you how to get there.
