Shop Summary:
My idea of what a bike shop should look like. Not a sterile place. Nice selection of bikes clothing etc.

Customer Service:
Excellent Rich and Tom know the biking business. They strive to make you happy.

Other Comments:
I purchased a Felt F3C from them last year. Tom worked with me to come up with the bike I was looking for. I was going for a custom build but after working with Tom I ended up with a bike with all the features I was looking for, with just a little customization. It took around 3 months to complete the transaction, no pressure. Wish I could buy a car like this!

Shop Summary:
I visited the shop over the weekend, since my rear derailuer finally gave up the ghost. Around Town Bikes is a great shop, lots of bikes (mtb, road & trainiers), a lot of gear and clothing.

Customer Service:
Reason for my visit was the above derailuer failure. Rich (the resident Wrench Turner) took one look and took my bike in for triage. Within 20 minutes he had shown me a selection of replacements, replaced the part, cable and cable housing and chain and I was back in business! Not only was the service fast and at a great price, but both Rich and Tom demonstrated a real interest in making sure that overall my bike was safe and in good tune.

Other Comments:
These guys are true bike enthusiasts, know their trade and how to make people feel comfortable in their shop.
I will definitely re-visit this shop and probably a more frequently, not only for repairs and advice, but also for the feeling of comraderie that you feel there.

is a great local shop. Sponsored rides on Saturday for the roadies, owners ride with the Mtn Bikers on Thursday nights and Sundays, Very good service work(always get it right), Retro Rides, Shop is inviting place to hang out, ATB in WIlkes Barre!

Customer Service:
Superb...they make it right when the inevitable product failures happen(not too often thankfully!)...recently my winter riding pants...Louis Garneau Thermo's.....the hem on the waist band began to unravel....A Town replaced the pants with brand new ones off the rack...no hassle..they take care of the customer.

Other Comments:
Tom and Rich never push a product or service...they make suggestions and let the customer decide...really appreciate that they do not oversell. In addition, they regularly let you demo products and i don't mean a spin in the parking lot... Both know their stuff!
