Shop Summary: Contacted them when I was shopping for a Pivot Mach 5 and found that the LBS in my area would have to order in a bike and charge significantly more for custom build. I told speedgoat what I wanted and they put it together just the way I wanted at a great price. They had most components in stock. When they did not have the 2009 frame and rims that I ordered, they told me I could wait a couple weeks and get the 2010 components (and the price was the same). I was nervous purchasing a complete bike online. Seemed like too many ways for it to go bad. However, it was a most pleasant experience. No regrets!!!!!!
Customer Service: Bill was super. Quickly answered my questions, made numerous changes I requested, and worked between Pivot and myself to ensure everything went smoothly.
Other Comments: I would have no hesitation with buying another bike from these guys!

Shop Summary: Never visited the shop, experiences limited to online purchases (and lots of them!) only. Very impressed with their stock, they have always had or been able to get anything and everything for my cross country, single speed, downhill and my road bikes. There are some online shops out there with slightly better pricing on some (emphasize some!) parts, but thanks to price matching, Speedgoat is always my #1 choice for my bike needs.
Customer Service: Outstanding! Very helpful, knowledgeable and courteous staff. A very nice change from the local Maryland shops. Items have always shipped on time, usually arriving within 1-2 days.
Other Comments: Speedgoat, you set the standard. Take note competitors, Speedgoat does it right! Keep up the great work.
5 little ole chilis don't do these guys justice! I'm hoping to visit the shop in person some day.

Shop Summary: I had always recieved great service and found the staff friendly and knowledgeable. This past summer however, they covered the windows in papaer and put up a notice closed for renovations, online orders accepted. Well it is January and they are still closed (except for online orders)! I could have built a house in this time! You can see at night in a gap betwwn the paper when driving by that nothing has been done. It seems they don't want bothered by local riders or perform repairs after the sale. Keep this in mind when shopping at your local shop, and if you don,t have one this is a good mail order shop.
Customer Service: Awsome when the doors are unlocked.
Other Comments: Grtat quality products. Super employees. Why dosn't the owner care for the local riders?

Shop Summary: I've never been to the actual shop, but instead placed an online order for a road helmet. I did so based on the various feedback provided by other posters on this review site.
Customer Service: Customer service excellence delivered in a fast, friendly, knowledgeable manner. New helmet arrived exactly on the date customer service said it would.
Other Comments: Awesome price and free shipping on high-end European-made helmet. Smoked the competition's price point!

Shop Summary: First-class bike shop with a awesome showroom full of top end mtn and road bikes. They also have a great website. I have purchased many items from Speedgoat over the years both in the shop and online and have always been very pleased with the product and the service.
Customer Service: Best customer service experience I have had starting with demo days at the local trail. I had the opportunity to ride various size demo bikes and discuss sizing. We continued through the purchasing process with frequent emails and phone calls crunching the numbers from their personalized fit system until we agreed on the correct size frame and components. I dropped my old bike off 2 days later and within 2 more days my new bike was built. Speedgoat seems to go the extra mile to assure that their customers are completely satisfied with their purchases.
