Shop Summary:
As far as bike shops go I have been in quite a few which were what I'd list in the cookie cutter category, this shop does not fit that description. It is a unique and very comfortable atmosphere.

Customer Service:
Customer service was very good, i'd have to disagree with the prior 2 postings the owner was very helpful and curteous to me. It took a few extra days to complete my bicycle repair but that's expected in a very busy quality bicycle shop. Pricing was very reasonable, actually oneof the least expensive tune ups I've ever paid forand they gave me more for my money than the last shop I patronized.

Other Comments:
I frequent biketopia about once every 4 or 6 weeks for general items because I commute by bicycle, so I am in there more than the average retail customer. I have never had a negative experience with the owner. I'd like to comment on the previous posting of you heard the employees are nice, well he doesn't have employees and he may have only 1 person there working with him at a time. So, unfortunately your comment seems to be inflated or false. biketopia is one of the best shops around.

Shop Summary:
Wow, I mean wow! I have never, ever had a worse experience in any store, anywhere, anytime.

I really wanted to like this place. Close to home and other shops we love. Charming exterior appearance. But the fun ended at the door.
I love Havertown and am an enthusiastic supporter of the other stores there. Unfortunately, I cannot support this store or its owner.

Customer Service:
The core of the problem. We were promised a quick turnaround of days for minor work, some of which was handled in minutes elsewhere. It took 3 weeks to NOT have my bikes fixed, and then we were treated pretty rudely.

The owner was not friendly. In fact, he was downright scary.

Other Comments:
I agree with the other poster who said to go anywhere else.

Shop Summary:
Customer service is everything to me. I'm willing to pay a little more for friendly, knowledgeable people and an upbeat environment. If I just wanted stuff cheap, I'd shop the internet & discount warehouses. Biketopia was niether friendly nor cheap. A total bust.

Customer Service:
Worst customer service experience of my life.

I love supporting the "local guys," so I thought I'd give these guys a try when I moved to the area. Big mistake. Poor communication, disrespect and poor attitude. The biggest suprise? That was from the treatment I received from THE OWNER! (Rumor has it some of the folks that work there are great, unfortunately they work for this guy.)

I do not consider myself a demanding customer, but I do expect some common courtesy-- I did not find that here. A phone call to tell me my bike would not be done on time or a simple apology when I called or showed up for pick up & it was still not done would have left me disappointed, but satisfied. No such luck.

Other Comments:
Go somewhere else. ANYWHERE else.
