Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Shop covers nearly every aspect of cycling; road bikes, mountain bikes, recumbent bikes, tandem bikes, cruisers, and even cyclo-cross. Customer Service: If you have a question they have no problem taking the time to explain anything you need to know in detail. Recently, when trying to decide between two bikes I was advised to go with the slightly cheaper bike since the sales rep pointed out that you get more for your money. They've taken the time to show me how to use the tools I've purchased from them and have been more than happy to actually show me how they work. I've bought numerous tools, accesories, and two bikes from this shop and have not had any problems at all with their service. Even when I spent 40 minutes testing out 4 different bikes they were patient with me and worked with me to find the perfect fit. Other Comments: I bought a pair of clipless pedals from them and on the very first day of using them, one of the pedals would clip in but it would not release. After inspection I found that part of the cage around the pedal had compressed and was keeping the pedal from working properly. I immediately went to the shop and after a minute of inspection they ordered a replacement pair with no questions asked.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: Sunshine has a good size shop and manages to cover most types of bikes fairly well. This is all they do, and they do it pretty well. It's a must-visit for area riders. They are strong technically but not perfect. I had one problem with a repair, and a technical flub on a special part order. Customer Service: Attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, but I have had minor follow-up problems on special orders. Other Comments: Sunshine is the unofficial home of the Spinners, Greenville's riding club. Connect to group rides here. They close at 4:30 on Saturdays, and are not open on Sundays.
