Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: The shop itself was very spacious and well maintained. They had a wide variety of bike selection as well as apparel and accessories. The repair area is small and cramped. Customer Service: The staff is not as attentive as I would like. They seemed to rely on one of their employees for most of the technical questions. That did not sit well with me. If I go to a bike shop I expect them all to be knowledgeable enough to answer basic-intermediate questions. Other Comments: I originally bought my first mountain bike and was mislead on the extra warranty information. Needless to say I'd rather go to other bike shops then this one again. I think there over priced as well.

Cross Country Rider Shop Summary: Certainly is a nice shop. Really roomy and clean. They have a nice selection of bikes on hand but not the components that some one might be looking for. The store location off 1604 is way out of my way but the other location on Broadway is more conviently located. Customer Service: Seriosly, their customer service blows. I went in about 30 minutes before they were closing and no one bothered to help me. It was a complete waste of time. I was told that there shop was about to close in two minutes after my whole time in the store. If anyone looking to buy a bike or what ever, I recommend not going there. They are more attentive to folks with their noses up in the air. Other Comments: I recommend going to ride away bikes, or britton. They are smaller shops but more friendlier and dont make you feel intimidated.

Weekend Warrior Shop Summary: the shop it self is very roomy, but they dont really have all that great of selections. they are very limited with their sattles.
the shop is nice, but i really didnt see to much alteration equipment. Customer Service: not the most attentive out there. as I was wondering around the shop for a good 20 to 30 min no one came up to me to ask me if they could help out. Even after taking a bike out of the rack and looking around to see if i could speak to some one nothing. So in response, non of my questions where answered so it was a complet waist of time. Other Comments: great location

Racer Shop Summary: First off I will not be biased here, there are so many better shops in San Antonio. First time I went there, I looked around, I was in the market for my two kids and they did not have jack. They had one small 20" boys bike that was made by Trek and the componentry was crap, and they wanted $350 for it, that was my first turn off, then I went up to ask for a set of six bolt disc brakes for my own ride. the guy showed me some Shimano Centerlocks that were on sale, really was great but centerlocks do not work with 6bolt unless you get the adapter. I did not want to go that route, I then asked him about the Avid Juicy Three's he said they could order them for $189. Hmmm a little pricey since I do bargain shop but he said I should hurry because they were going to discontinue them... nah I will wait. Gave me a dirty look so I left, Ended up getting mine from Brittons for less then ;eople sell them on ebay $168 with tax and I got them the next day. WTG Brittons. Customer Service: they are quick but unknowledgeable and just not customer orientated. Next place at the 1604 location. The have plenty of room to try out bikes and such Other Comments: I take my business elsewhere due to prices and cs.

Cross Country Rider Customer Service: Lived in San Antonio for over 20 years and have mountain and road biked all of that time. I know I've dropped over $7000 at bike world on bikes for my family as well as tons of parts. USED TO BE a very good shop with knowledgeable staff and wrenches. That's all over - I brought a fork in to be fixed about two months ago and the sales person asked if "I bought the fork at Bikeworld" I said no - and he said well, I'm not sure if we can work on it? Ironic since Bike World's early success was due to their own MAIL ORDER business.
