Shop Summary:
The shop has a nice selection of all types of bikes. They will also work with you to order any bike not in stock. Great deals on equipment and accessories.

Customer Service:
A+ customer service. Outstanding knowledge, timely repairs, friendly workers and atmosphere.

Other Comments:
Jim at Biketown had the best deal on a high quality MTB than any I found all over the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex.

Shop Summary:
Awesome! I was new to riding about 3 years ago. Jim helped me pick a bike that actually worked for me.He consider everthing about me weight the fact that i use to race dirt bikes everything and then we discussed the majority of the mountain bikes in the shop for about 3 hours. I have recently moved and the bigger shops where i am now are not nearly as helpful. Thanks JIM!!

Customer Service:
Awesome mechanics are great and really help you decide on upgrades and little changes to your bike that actually fit you even if they are not the most expensive.

Other Comments:
I have purchased two treks and a Maverick from jim. all of the service and knowledge is great. Ask them about the ABC trails they are a great ride.

Shop Summary:
Went in there looking to buy my first mountain bike. They were very helpful in helping find what I needed. Jim was especially helpful in helping me find all the accessories that I needed. He didn't steer me towards the most expesive either. He actually tried getting me some of the cheaper stuff and explained all the accessories. I was really surprised at the amount of bikes and merchandise that was in the shop, given the size of Abilene. The shop looked fairly clean too. Parking sucks though, and is kind of dangerous if your not carefull.

Customer Service:
Outstanding! I give it 5 stars. Not too many places with personnal customer service like this anymore. I was going to wait until I went to Corpus to purchase a bike, but I am really glad that I stopped in. No regrets. I hope to use this shop for all my needs in the future.

Shop Summary:
People in Abilene have developed the habit of jumping in the car and driving to Dallas or Fort Worth to shop, but you don't have to do that if you are shopping for a mountain or road bike, or parts to upgrade your existing ride. Bike Town's inventory is surprising when you consider abilene's sixe and it's proximity to the metroplex. Not only do hey stock Specialized, trek and haro, they also carry a surprising inventory of Santa Cruz bikes, and are a Maverick dealer.Hey, they even stock BMX bikes and comfort bikes. If you have a cycling need, check them out.

Customer Service:
The customer service at Bike Town is excellent. Not only is the staff well informed and the mechanics excellent, they are genuinely concerned aboutmeeting your needs, rather than just making another sale.
They try hard to answer any question you might have and if they do not have an immediate answer, they will get one for you. Work is excellent and is completed in a timely manner.I sort of expect people in a shop where I have spent a considerable amount of money to remeber my name, but to remember my many rides and all the cahnges we have made to them
goes beyond the expected.

Other Comments:
Hey, the marking situation may be less than ideal, but i will trade absolute confidence in the product and staff of a business for a little motoring adventure any day.

Shop Summary:
Prices are reasonable. For a small town they have a great selection from top name brands like Santa Cruz, Trek, Specialized as well as big discounts on closeouts. What they don't have in stock they will order and have it within a few days.

Customer Service:
Sales is based on the informative approach rather than high pressure. Tell them what you might be interested in, price ,etc and you will be directed to a range of bikes that meet your criteria. Then they will describe the benefits and shortcomings of each so that you can make an informed choice. I like that. In addiditon, the mechanics are the best in the business. The word gurus comes to mind when talkng suspension. Veteran advice is always available to answer any question from tubes to lubes. Anything I've needed has been handled promptly with a call when its ready/arrived. If you come in with an off-the-wall proplem they will work hard to come up with a solution. They've never steered me wrong.

Other Comments:
Recently I felt I was overcharged for custom length of cable housing. On the other hand I bought an expensive cable cutter that was mismarked. Instead of changing the price they sold it to me for little more than cost so I guess it goes both ways. I still give the shop an A+.
