This is a very Quick one.

These guys at both locations are GREAT!

Call for locations

I came to El Paso for business and checked MTB for reviews and nada. Called 411 and got these guys. They can put most BIG city shops to SHAME. No 'tude, smiles and great info.

Sorry I did not post the info on where they are, I need to get out to ride.

Call 411. I suggested they post here, they were so good I wanted to take a second and let you know who to see and did I say they are great?

Take in a sixer of Fight Tire and they think you are the second coming...

Thanks,

Shop Summary:
This bikeshop is exceptional.
Robert Barrio, owner, is the nicest businessman you would ever meet.
He and Micheal Griggs took me under their wing and showed me the ropes.
If it werent' for them, I would not have knowledge on the technical aspect.
I was an employee for nearly nine years. Crazy Cat was the coolest job.
I feel kinda bad that I acted rude with Rob and Adrian after I left, but my respect will always be strong for them. They put up with me in situations that would have fired me on the spot on other jobs.

These guys are very helpful and put alot of effort in assisting with the bicycle community.

I thank Robert Barrio, Michael Griggs, and Gutz for their support when I was there. When my dad died in January, Robert was there to comfort me. Robert Barrio is a real gentleman.

Support Crazy Cat as well as all local bikeshops. Currently I am a student at UTEP/EPCC and still repair bicycles at home. I like to buy parts at local bikeshops, just to give each one business.

RIDE YOU BIKE AND MAINTAIN IT REGULARLY.

Shop Summary:
I walked into Crazy Cat red road location and was greated by a staff person. The place was a buzz with 15 riders talking about a mountain bike ride they had just done. The entire staff was interacting with the large group as they were wrenching on bikes.. I live an hour away and have seen all the different shops in this town and Las Cruces. I am so glad I do not need to look any further for a shop that supports a gathering of such energy, and of staff who love what they do. I ended up talking with the staff and was introduced to every single rider around the work area and was invited to go on ride Sunday morning. That was over my experience level but they took it easy on me. They pour beer on scratches and cuts. I have since then bought a Ex8 which i love and drive 1 hour to ride with the best group of wrenches in 2 cities..Not to mention how much they have taught me..thanks CRAZY CAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Customer Service:
The best customer service ever.

Keep up the good job guys and gals.

Shop Summary:
Their Mesa St. shop is great. Lots of quality merchandize. Only problem is they sell too much Specialized stuff. Redd Rock shop is larger but the same helpful service. I know they carry other additonal brands such as Trek but i'm not sure which ones.

Customer Service:
When I went out to buy my first mountain bike a few years ago, they were the most helpful, which sold me. I went to the "El Paso Bicycle Company" down the street and was there for 20 min. and nobody bothered to ask if I needed any help!! Anyway these guys are all cyclist and know what they do. The owner, Robert, is very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended!!

Shop Summary:
I was in town working and stumbled across their shop looking for info on local trails back in 2002. They were friendly, knowledgeable (I know what I am talking about even though I am not a "Pro BMX Racer" but I slept at a Holiday Inn last night and was a bike mechanic for 5 years and am still an avid cyclist).

I went on some group rides with them and had a blast the guides were nice, they encouraged the beginners, but split the group so we faster riders could blaze, it's a great service for shops to do those rides and Crazy Cats offers some of the best led, at least in 2002 they did.

I bought some accessories and such out of gratitude. Prices were reasonable.

Shop Summary:
Very limited choices. Its either kid bikes or hardcore, top of the level, XC/road bikes. The area around the shop has sick DH and hard freeride trails but they have no bikes to take on the terrain. And the bikes that they claim can take on the ride, I know they can't. I'm a PRO BMX racers, and I love hitting DH lines on my BigHit. I know what I'm taking about.

Customer Service:
Terrible service. These guys have people working who don't know anything about bikes. They recommend the wrong bikes to the wrong discipline. And they justify it by saying its expensive so it must be good. Or claim that brand is all you need.

Other Comments:
I used to be a regular at Crazy Cat, and I even had a relative working there. I spent thousands at that shop and promoted them a lot during that time. And the owner of the shop didn't even look at me last time I went in, and he knew who i was. They are all about business and have forgotten about riding. Plus they claim to be sick rider in all disciplines but I never see them ride. Simply they are rude and pick favorite.
