Panther City Bicycles

Average Rating:    (5 of 5)

Panther City Bicycles was born when two local bike shop employees joined forces to open a unique kind of shop. A small shop with a pleasant atmosphere steeped in the rich, vibrant history of Fort Worth. We see the bicycle not only as the best form of exercise, but also as socially responsible transportation. Armed with this belief, we will be offering many services, from Sales and Repair to Courier.

We're cyclists first, so we only sell products and services we believe in, at fair and honest prices. If you shop on price alone, we may not always win your business. But if you value personal service, honesty, a handshake, and a laid-back atmosphere, stop by and visit us soon. Remember...a cold 6-pack of Fort Worth-brewed Rahr & Sons Blonde Lager (or your favorite microbrew) is always welcome, and may earn you a nice discount on your repair.

Shop Summary:
Great shop with a very cool vibe. The owners are very helpful and are true bike lovers. Shop organizes some cool rides/events and they always have a local microbrew on tap for loyal customers.

I recently visited these guys while shopping for a bike for my girlfriend. Although I didn't purchase the bike from them in the end, I had to give them recognition for their unique customer service! Very relaxed atmosphere which gives you a breather to know exactly what you're looking for instead of being covered with salesman techniques. This is the Starbucks of bike stores without the chain-store feel!
