Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels) that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»

Shop Summary:
Spin City is a smaller shop that doesn't carry as much as - for example - Bicycle Sport Shop. However, what they lack in size and perhaps range of merchandise, they more than make up for in customer service, friendly advice and a willingness to make the consumer happy. The store carries Kona, Fuji and KHS - (there might have been some Iron Horse there too) mountain bikes and they have the ability to order in high end frames or anything else required. They also have a range of road bikes that I believe are from the same manufacturers, but I didn't really pay attention to them as I wanted a mountain bike.

Customer Service:
In addition to finding what I believe was the best bike for me in terms of geometry and cost, it was the customer service that sold me on Spin City and this is after trekking around pretty much every bike store in Austin. The staff are friendly, knowledgable and willing to make sure that you get the right bike for you. Even after leaving the store, I got multiple follow-up calls and emails as we went through the options to choose my new bike. They even stayed open late (before heading off for a race) so that I could pick up my bike after work.

Other Comments:
I've been out of the saddle for maybe 10 years and nobody gave me a bigger welcome back than these guys. I'm now the proud owner of a Fuji Tahoe Pro 29er after considering the Specialized Rockhopper Comp 29er and the Diamondback Overdrive Pro 29er. I highly recommend you giving Spin City a visit.
