Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels)
that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your
customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML
code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»
Shop Summary: Big shop with lots of cool stuff and very willing to sell you it.
Customer Service: This is where they lack. I took my bike in on three different occasions and on all three had to take my bike elsewhere to get what they were to fix fixed ( I live in Dallas but work elsewhere and take my bike everywhere). After emailing them after the third poor service after the sale the owner wrote me more or less calling me a lier and telling me to go elsewhere. Well trust me I do and with any chance I get will tell others of the I don't care business is that good attitude I got.I will never buy anything from them and will continue to give this advice to all thinking to go there.

Shop Summary: Yet another Wall Mart without the service!!
Customer Service: The worst customer service I have ever encountered.
The so called duty manager was a JOKE. I wonder how much of anger or conflict management skill set he has. In a nutshell, my shock came in for maintenance. They messed up with the disassembly. The bike is now in my garage. I had to buy a new one (I was planning to buy anyway).
Other Comments: I bought my Cannondale 2006 F400 at Wheel in motion at their previous location on Coit. When the moved I switched to RBM on Campell. In March, I took my bike in for a simple maintenance on the front shock. The technician was very nice. He fixed it in minutes. But it turned out it was not fixed. I brought the bike back, and they had to order a part.
But at the end my shock was not fixed, another part broke when they disassembled the shock. They tried to fix it up with some uncertified Cannondale screw (in the interim).
They wanted me to pay for the labor while waiting for the part, because I wanted to ride my bike that week-end. Nobody apologized on behalf of RBM for the mistakes. They were looking for all excuses. Even insinuated that the part was broken at the time the bike came in. I was so pissed, I just wanted to pay and leave the place.
I decided not to go to any Bike mart shop and anymore, and share my story with my rider peers. I bought a bike for my son at that store the week before. I was so concerned about further customer services that I wanted to bring it back. But my son loves the bike so much. He is 4.5.
Good luck for your next visit.
Shop Summary: Worse than buying a car. That is what I am describing as my experience in walking in RBM and being hounding by way too many employees. A truly gigantic operation that keeps expanding not only its number of stores, but also the cost of items in those stores (when they are in stock).
Customer Service: Sucks. Service department is a bit of a black hole. I had some items replaced once on my older bike, and to keep a long story short, I didn't get anything back from the service department that they took off the bike (fork and brakes). Would have been nice to get the old parts back seeing that they weren't broken, and they were mine.
Some employees are very helpful though. I found the employees that helped me select shoes to be very nice and helpful.
I think the service department is a bit of a scam here, and I don't go back to this place for the reasons stated above. I even asked for my things back a few days later, and they looked at me like I was mad.
Other Comments: Definitely the Walmart of Dallas LBS shops. The service department is awful.
