Shop Summary:
I wanted to review this shop to help others avoid the same mistakes I have made. First of all I have not been impressed with anything made by Performance or their Forte brand. I have bought riding shorts and several components which have been terrible thus far. I hate to think of all the money I have wasted using their products. Dont get me wrong if you buy the more expensive name brand parts from the store then you will be ok.

Customer Service:
This is one place you never want to buy a bike from. Do not believe their 10% off bike scam or the no interest credit on new bikes. The 10% credit will be put on a performance point card and cannot be used till later. My credit was also denied even though I have over an 800 point credit score.

Now to the real business and disapointments. I took my Trek Fuel 70 into this place to get the headset serviced. I ended up having to put a new one on which was no surprise to me. When I got the bike back I had numerous scratches on the frame added from the bike mechanic. I also had to take it back in to get it re-tightened. A few months later I decided to buy a road bike because Performance was running a great sale. I had to leave the bike in the shop over night so they could check it out for me. The next day I picked up the bike and it had new scratches on it, the headset was not tightened correctly, and one of the V-brakes was rubbing the rim. Luckily I used to work in a bike shop so I fixed the problem, but was upset that a new exspensvie bike would come in this condition.

Other Comments:
The mechanics are horrible at this place. I wouldnt let any of them touch my bike again. I am also sad to say that I was griped out by one of them because I didnt have my quick releases set the way he thought was right. Nice to know that all the bikes put together in the shop were the same as the way I had them.
