Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels)
that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your
customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML
code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»

Shop Summary: I have to agree with the last post. Some of the claims made on previous reviews seem... a little extreme. I recently visited the shop for the first time looking to buy a cyclocross bike. I had looked at what was out there and already had a pretty good idea of what I could afford and what I wanted. The guys at the shop worked with me and went through a lot of effort to make sure that I got the right bike for me. Buying a bike from them was a great overall experience!
Customer Service: Like I said, buying a bike there was a positive experience. At least for me, a lot of effort was put in to finding that perfect bike that fit what I wanted and could afford, rather than just trying to sell me a bike as quickly or as expensively as they could. The staff seemed extremely knowledgeable.

Shop Summary: Great variety of cycles, gear, etc. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Customer Service: Very good.
Other Comments: Previous review is totally off base. Their prices are marked at manufacturers retail on most items. I have had other shops in town reluctantly match theirs because their prices are the best. A recent example...fulcrum racing one wheel set at several shops - 1400.00. Contender's price - 1099.00 which is what fulcrum website indicates. Another false claim about them is that they try to sell only one thing, ie Time. I told them my budget and they instantly responded by showing me my options. Never did they try to dissuade me from my budget. They are professional and have a good knowledge of what is out there. The previous review is a wholly inaccurate representation of one of the nicest shops in Salt Lake. And no, I don't work or own the place!

Shop Summary: This place is a total rip off, their mechanics tryed to rip me off more than once, their stuff is way over priced in comparison to other shops and on line. A friend of mine has spent Thousands of dollars in this place and instead of giving him better deals, they continue to rip him off. I no longer shop at this place and won't even consider it anymore, not even if their prices droped down to below wholesale.
Customer Service: Kind of arrogant, it seems like if you're not ready to spend a few hundred dollars or more, they don't want to give you the time of day
Other Comments: Don't waist your time in this place, it seems they try to get you to buy the most expensive frame they can, and they also try to push certain brands "TIME" maybe cause is one of the most expensive frames there are out there. Even though they carrie about 10 different brands.
I don't think they're very honest when it comes to selling a bike.

Shop Summary: When I lived in California, I worked at a high-end road shop in Sausalito where we believed that customer service is key.
This shop has the zoot and bling, but little else for someone raised in the retail environment that I was.
Customer Service: Extremely inconsistent. There have been times I've walked in and have been greeted right away. There have been times I've wandered through the store, looked at bikes, tried on clothing, and basically been there for close to an hour before leaving ... without ever having been spoken to the staff.
Other Comments: You'd think that when someone rolls into the shop riding a $6000.00 road bike, that the employees might want to at least greet the customer and see if there is anything they can do. Bike shops are a service industry ... it really doesn't matter how expensive, or how high quality your merchandise is if your customers don't become clients because you treat them like poop.
