Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels)
that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your
customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML
code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»
Cyclesmith
CycleSmith is a neighborhood bicycle shop staffed by great bicycle mechanics and friendly staff. Our primary focus is bicycle repair. Our top priority is to send you out the door with a bike that works perfectly and that you enjoy riding. If it can be fixed, we know how. We might not be the slickest, most polished sales-people in the world, and our "showroom" might be a bit crowded, but we know our stuff and we're kick-ass mechanics. We don't care what bike you ride or where you bought it. You'll get the same friendly service whether you bought your bike from us, another local shop, eBay, or a buddy.
Your bike should run well. If it doesn't, come see us and we'll sort you out.
Shop Summary: They messed up my fork. I brought my Float RLC with a oil leak from the blue blowout adjustment knob. They overhauled my fork, replaced seals and oil, but somehow broke my lockout capability of my fork. They seem to be nice enough, but apparently incompetent mechanically. Also, when I got my bike back, I had a horid headset creek that was certainly not there before. They charged me another $20 for a head tube refacing to fix the problem. When I got the bike back the creak was still there. At least take the thing for a ride around the block before telling me its fixed. Absolutely ridiculous. Never will I take my bike there for anything.

Shop Summary: Smallish, but complete. Decent selection for size.
Customer Service: Service was great. Got good answers. No pressure.
Other Comments: I visited this shop on referral from a friend. I'm trying to shop local instead of internet. We gotta keep the locals alive! I chatted about my needs, and felt that the responses of the service guy were perfect for my situation. Parts were ordered and arrived as expected. Good prices. No pressure to "upgrade" on what I needed,... which I appreciated.
