Bike Shop Owners! We have a new feature we call the Rating Badge. The Rating Badge is a small graphic image (150x58 pixels)
that displays your shop's rating and number of reviews on Mtbr.com. You can put it on your website and it allows all your
customers to review your shop. It also gives new customers the reviews and validation they need to buy from you. Just cut and paste the HTML
code found in the Rating Badge section of your review page. More details about the Rating Badge here»
Bike Peddler
At The Bike Peddler issues of mechanics and technique intrigue us. We are proud to be a resource, a clearinghouse for the combined information and skills that can enrich our cycling lives. If it has two wheels and human power we dig it. Mountain, road, BMX, jumping, trials, freestyle, commuting, track, touring, racing, sightseeing, riding with friends, spouses, kids, grandkids, pets, errands- there is no end to the ways we can enjoy cycling. We do it, have done it, want to do it or at the very least are excited to meet and be of service to anyone who has. Communicating our love for cycling is a two way street. We talk. We listen. And all the riding we do intensifies our commitment to insure that your bike performs at it’s very best. When we work on your bike it is as if we can feel ourselves riding it.
Shop Summary: The Bike Peddler is a smallish shop with some nice brands of bikes. They stock some clothing and parts. They also offer demo bikes and sponsor the Utah Velo Club. In addition, they sponsor several bike events per month through the club and they offer demo days every other week at Lambert Park.
Customer Service: This is an arbitrary rating because bike shops really are about who you build relationships with. The store itself is just that, a store, but the sales reps and mechanics are the life blood of any shop. That said, this shop has hit or miss customer service. It really depends on the day of the week, who you are dealing with, and what kind of a mood they are in.
Other Comments: I purchased my wife's bike from this shop. They often have decent deals on bikes, especially when Specialized offers their dealers the model closeouts or when they sell off their demo fleet.
