Small hardcore rider-owned shop. Owner, Fuzzy Nance, is the trailbuilder behind Luke's Trail, Floating Rocks, Bomberella, Dead-Dog Loop, and most of the Singletrack in the area. The hand-drawn P.A.S.S. trail map sells for $5 and proceeds go to trailtools and club events.

BicycleWorks is the home of the Price Area Singletrack Society, the club which puts-on annual events like TrailFest (in April), 4th of July Rides & Barbeque, and the Arts Festival group-rides from Price to Helper in August.

Fuzzy builds every bike he sells, and covers each one with a 1-year service warranty...

Shop Summary:
As others have mentioned, this shop is small, but stocks some quality bikes (Specialized) and accessories. The owner is responsible for the construction of most of the new singletrack in the area, organizing rides, and for promoting biking events.

Customer Service:
I met the owner when I was biking up the hill north of the town to ride Luke's Trail. He was in a vehicle coming down. He stopped, commented on my bike, and handed me a trail map and a flyer for that weekend's group ride. He didn't mention who he was or that he owned a shop. I met him again the next day at the store, and talked about the trail work he has done, his racing days, and some of what he was planning. I left with a new pair of grips. I'll stop by any time I'm back in Price.

Other Comments:
Price doesn't get much attention as a biking destination. It has miles of old trails and dirt roads, but it's located almost exactly halfway between the more famous options along the Wasatch Front and in Moab. Also, the invasion of ATVs and natural gas drilling in the 1990s destroyed much of the old single-track and jeep trails, but at the same time, opened up access to more remote areas. Fuzzy and some locals are rebuilding the trail network and the biking culture in the area, which is only good for all of us.

Shop Summary:
Small shop - dedicated to specialized, and mostly road bikes.

Customer Service:
I went in looking for a mountain bike to get to and from work on (1 mile) I wanted a mountain bike so I could go to slick rock on the weekends, and something simple- I don't ride much. Fuzzy insisted that he build me a custom bike and that I get a road bike rather than a mountain bike. He told me it would cost me at least a grand to get a bike. I appreciate that he is the 'expert' but I don't like being told what to buy and how much to spend, especially when I had stated that I wanted a mountain bike. I had a friend that had the EXACT same thing happen to her there. I had another friend that had a bike repaired there and when he got it back on the repair ticket it said 'fix retards bike'. That is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! Having lot of bike knowledge does not give you the right to insult customers.

Shop Summary:
Small with a good variety of the things you need now at good prices. There isnt anything sold there that Fuzzy isnt trail (or road) worthy...unless it is being tested.

Customer Service:
I have known Fuzzy for years now and he loves to give his customers the best equipment and best service. Unlike some bike shops he wont tell you to buy a new part unless you really need it. Fuzzy will give you what you ask for..and share his opinion about what you should have.

Other Comments:
Fuzzys shop is near a great set of trails that arent so far away as moab, fruita, or st. george and the season is six weeks longer in price than in northern utah. Fuzzy and his wife Dondra organize great events for riding throughout the season and throw a pretty good party.

Shop Summary:
Fuzzy is a cool guy. He builds all his bikes him self and adds the Fuzzy Guarantee. He knows his stuff about Bikes. not only the Mt. style but BMX, rode, and cruser. if there is something rong he can fix it. The shop is small, not a huge selection of products. but if you cant find what you need he will get it. Not only does he build bikes but unicycles, somewhat exotic yet totaly aswsome he makes both trials and MUni.

Customer Service:
Fuzzy will drop what he is doing to help with your problem. you don't even need a problem and he will talk all morning with you. verry friendly and personable. This guy knows his stuff.

Other Comments:
Big dog, verry nice. small shop, friendly service. small town, just a gass station and a Wendy's
