Chile Pepper Bike Shop

Average Rating:    (5 of 5)

No. of Reviews: 10

Shop owned and operated by avid mountain bikers Ryon and Tracy Reed. The shop has a full service espresso bar, lounge/movie viewing area, super friendly staff, and of course the best service department this side of planet Mars. Modern long travel suspension bikes are their specialty and passion.

Shop Summary:
Chile Pepper is rocking right now with the Chile Pepper HoDown. Last year the event raised $8,000.00 to do work on the Bike Park on 500 West in Moab. They hope to raise more this year. In fact, the Jump Jam will be held there in 2013. Getting ready for the annual ridiculous costume party, races, clinics, and films. If you haven't attended this October event, plan to do so soon.

Customer Service:
Seems my bike is always needing parts and the staff are always helpful.

Shop Summary:
I only visited this shop based on other reviews here on MTBR, and I wasn't dissapointed. Overall A+. Clean store, huge selection, friendly atmosphere. They actually had some items in stock I couldn't even find online. To top it all off, there's a Barista IN the store? Awesome. Prices are pretty much retail, but you don't go to Moab to bargain shop.

Customer Service:
Excellent customer service, from the cashiers to the mechanics, they were all superb. The shop was very busy over the several days I visited, but no one ever acted like I was a pain in the @ss. The mechanics answered a couple questions I had about setup while they were working, or even stopped what they were doing to show me. A+ guys.

Other Comments:
I have nothing to say about the other shops in Moab, but even so, I will ONLY be going to the Chile in my future Moab trips, solid work. Thank you for the hospitality Chile employees!

Shop Summary:
Greatest shop in Moab hands down!!
Rented a bike there for my wife, seamless service!
Came back and bought the bike. They did an amazing job on preparing it. They were also able to fix my bike at the last minute so I could ride Porcupine the next day before leaving Moab!

Customer Service:
Great, friendly and very reasonably priced! Good advice from staff and everyone seems to have fun and enjoy working there.

Shop Summary:
Six of my friends and I went to Moab for the first time 4.26.12. We all rented their high end bikes since it was more economical to rent than to lug our own. The planning was made easy via e-mails with Tracy, Sylvi, Annie and Alison. Once there the checkin went without a hitch and I can't say enough about the knowledge of the mechanics. Every evening the mechanics retuned the bikes for us that were ridden hard and put away wet.
The expresso stand was a great touch. They also made a seamless connection for us to hook up with Rim Tours.

Customer Service:
The customer service was what I would expect from a family owned shop. EVERYONE made the experience easy and not a bother. My hat is off to the motivator of Chile Pepper bike shop
