What are we?
We are a bicycle and Skateboard shop, located in the city of Cottonwood Heights, UT.

Who are we?
Cottonwood Cyclery was founded to provide the cycling community of the greater Salt Lake area with a place to call their own.
We don't focus on bikes we focus on our customers and their needs, essentially we are building the store around you and your needs.
We are racers & recreationalists beginners and enthusiasts.
We can remember back to when we started, we have enjoyed racing, long epic rides or just following our child around the block on their first rides.
We understand that not everybody can afford or wants a $5000.00 bike but are happy and excited to accommodate those who do.
We love what we do and we love the people that we do it with.
We have partaken in almost every aspect of the sport, from BMX Racing, to the local crit series to commuting & touring.
We have never been very good at any of them but we were having fun, and isn't that what it's really all about?

Came in with a quick question and the guys stopped what they were doing and not only answered my question, but explained what was going on, what was needed and what should be done. Very nice guys, I'll be back for sure.

Customer Service:
My wife and I have been struggling with shifting and noise problems on our tandem bike. After five unsuccessful visits for repairs at other bike shop, my wife finally said that we need to go back to Cottonwood Cyclery. They have always done excellent work for us in the past. When we took it into Cottonwood, Alan, the owner, listened to the list of problems. He knew immediately what the issue was. He took us in the back and with the bike up on a stand, showed us that we had a bent derailleur hanger. When we later picked up the bike, the noise and shifting problems were finally gone. Thanks Alan!

In the past, when we have gone to Cottonwood Cyclery, we have always received great customer service and this time was no exception. I'll know better next time than to go somewhere else.

Out for a ride when I noticed my rear derailleur was slipping and shifting poorly. I stopped in on this weekend morning and asked them to look at it. They evaluated my bike and made an adjustment to my rear cable. Very friendly, excellent service and got me back on my ride. I really appreciate it. Open weekend days. I'll be back!

Shop Summary:
Great store - very conveniently located

Customer Service:
Great service. 3 of my daughters and I were planning a ride on Memorial Day and I needed a smaller seat post for one of my daughters to ride my older bike that was a little to big. I stopped off at Cottonwood on the way to our ride to see if they had an old post or one I could purchase. The bike was an old specialized with a very thick seat post. Although, the store didn't have one the owner was able to quickly just cut the post down to make it fit and allowed me to fix a quick flat with their pump and tools and didn't charge me anything and off we went. Would highly recommend this store to anyone!
