Mad Dog Cycles

Great shop one of the original shops in Orem. Has VERY experenced team of mechanics that can handle anything. I have been to many shops and found these guys to be the most knowledgeable.

I once had an experience with a rear ROLF Propel wheel that started making noise and not engauging the freewheel. I was in Moab at the time and went to the local bike shop (that was THE Rolf dealer) and they told me it was not serviceable and I would need to send it to Rolf which wuld have ruined my vacation. I called Mad Dog and the mechanic explained step-by-step how to fix the problem and service the free-hub. I did npot have another problem with the wheel. TRIP SAVED!

Shop Summary:
I came in and bought about $200 worth of gear, a helmet, shirt and I tried on three shorts. I paid for my items, gave them all of my personal information. I got a call from them later that evening. I called but they were closed and then I called again the next day and they accused me of stealing a pair of shorts! I am 48, a successful business owner, and I don't steal anything. If I was stealing a pair of shorts, would I give you all my contact information. Like a moron, I gave them my bike to tune up and when I went to pick it up I talked with them in person, showed them the shorts I tried on and expected a sorry but they still though I was guilty and treated me poorly. The shorts that they were missing were a size small, I wear an extra large!

Customer Service:
Their customer service with me could not be any worse. I will never darken their door again. And the tune up they gave me was crap, I would have taken it back but not to that shop.
Find a shop that appreciates your business and are friendly.

Great new store in Orem and also a good location in Provo. Lots of product in stock, knowledgeable and helpful staff, supportive of local riders and involved in the community. This shop promotes free guided rides, trail maintenance work and other events.

Awesome customer service....would not have got the good bike I have if not for them.

Other Comments:
They upgraded me for free on some componants to make sure parts would last longer and not break so easy.

Shop Summary:
Small shop, but what it lacks in size is easily made up by the customer service.

Customer Service:
Go visit Travis at the Provo store. He has been in the business for years (since the 80s). He's a real rider and commutes by bike to the shop. He knows his stuff and is enjoyable to work with. You will not be disappointed.

Shop Summary:
This is for the Provo store on 900 East. They are an average sized shop and carry a good selection of Trek and Gary Fisher. Their mechanics are great and are willing to help you learn to do it yourself. They have the resources to help you with whatever you need.

Customer Service:
Exceptional!!!! I visited every bike shop in the area and no even approached the customer service at this shop. Tim was very knowledgable in helping me choose the best bike for my budget. Every employee in this store is great and they are always willing to help. Travis is a stud! The wheelset that he built for me is top notch. These guys are worth the trip.

Other Comments:
I wish that I had more disposable income to spend at their shop. They made me a life-long customer and I will come back after graduation when I have more money. Support your LBS! Especially this one.
