Millcreek Bicycles began doing business 15 years ago as Canyon Bicycles of Salt Lake City. Eventually, we changed our name to Millcreek Bicycles so our customers could easily distinguish our shop from Canyon Bicycles Draper. Long ago, the two stores started as partners but we quickly learned we had different goals and operating procedures. We all enjoy riding our bikes, and our presence is dedicated to helping you enjoy riding yours. Millcreek Bicycles is committed to offering the best service and next day turnaround on most repairs. We understand that proper fit is a crucial step to maximizing comfort, enjoyment and cycling performance. We have the best bicycle fit method available – a fact that’s been proven time and time again. Millcreek Bicycles has completed custom fittings on more than 3,000 customers – riders of every level from professional U.S. racer Dave Zabriskie to recreational riders. Long-time customers know that Millcreek Bicycles has special relationships with the best brands in cycling. We are a proud participant in Campagnolo’s World Wide Pro-Shop Project, and Seven Cycles crowned Millcreek Bicycles as the No. 1 dealer in the U.S. for 2008. We’ve been in the top five Seven Cycles dealers in the U.S. for five of six years!

Shop Summary:
This is one of the best shops in Utah. I have been to shops in Moab, St. George, all over. They are all great however, this shop trumps and defeats all! Now known as Canyon Bicycles, because ownership changed, still the same vibe, product and continuous impeccable service! Whoever posted the completely asinine review about Mike hiring young prostitutes is inaccurate, mislead, and clearly having issues a good doctor MIGHT be able to help them with(I won't hold my breath). Mike sponsored KUTV for many years, creating an exceptional lasting relationship between him and the company. You can find a commercial on google with Mike and KUTV.
Anonymous user: Please tell me where you find all this time and energy to post a fictional, incorrect, and cretinous review on someone else! I would love to hear how you find extra time like that. I know I need it!
Mike: Thank you for carrying on such a great shop and service for so many years! I think I speak for all of your customers, when I say how much we truly appreciate you and all that you do!

Shop Summary:
Terrible business! The owner Mike Hanseen is using his profits from this business to hire young prostitutes in our community through online websites. Investigations are underway by KUTV, KSL, and the authorities to shut down this business. Keep your money and buy a bike from a more reputable business.

haha are you going to keep trolling me everywhere mr. anonymous? google review, yelp review this review. at first i was pissed but do what you have to do to feel better about yourself. I'm sorry I didn't know your girlfriend was a prostitute. She was a very fun date. Pro status pun intended. ;) Maybe you should consider that prosthetic to keep her satisfied?

Shop Summary:
This shop is the closest location to where I live and I have learned to avoid it. My first experience there was a disappointment but, my second experience there is the reason I will never do business with this shop again. My second time using this shop I took my bike in to have a new part installed. Every time I called in to check on the status of my bike they needed a new part. You would have thought that they would have taken the time to figure out what parts they needed before they began work on the bike. Not the case. While I was waiting for my bike I had them call and tell me that I needed parts that I had already asked them to order. Take your business somewhere else and save yourself the frustration of dealing with this shop.

Shop Summary:
Millcreek is an excellent shop located off Wasatch Blvd near the mouth of Millcreek Canyon in Salt Lake City (aka Millcreek). Attributes that set them appart from the many good shops in the Salt Lake Valley: professional bike fit, fast special orders on components, one of only 2 Rocky Mountain dealers in the valley, and truly exceptional customer service!

Customer Service:
It is obvious to me that customer service is a core value at Millcreek. All shop employees are friendly and technically competent. A couple of points for illustration... They all smile and are happy to have you in their shop; repair service is high quality; they stand by their work; They give great advice for a home mechanic like myself. I drive 20 miles to this shop when there are a few good shops near my home. I was drawn to the shop for the 2011 RMB Slayer and a professional fit and pedal stroke analysis. I keep going back because of the service.

Other Comments:
By the way, I am not pro nor am I a member of a club.

Shop Summary:
This is the closest shop to my home, and I will go there only in times of extreme desperation. If you are not a sponsored pro, or on one of the clubs/teams they sponsor they do not care about you. If they think they can get something by you they will. This was true when they were Canyon of SL, it is true today.

Customer Service:
I really wanted to give them another chance when they changed over to Millcreek, so I took my bike in to have the front brake adjusted. It was working OK, but the lever pull was way out of balance from the back (after you pump for a while, it sort of balanced out). They said they could take care of it, but it would take 3-4 days, not the 1-2 days advertised. "Things are busy". Anyway they said they would call. After a week I had to call them, and sitting on the phone for 20 min I got the response "yeah it's been done a couple days now." When I picked it up I was charged a price higher then quoted on the website. When I protested they said "Sorry the website needs to be updated." It is four months later and the website still has the "old" price. Furthermore, they did nothing to the brake, other than pumping it before I picked up the bike so it felt even. Next ride it was back the way it was.
